MULTI-PURPOSE TOOL
A multi-purpose tool or apparatus includes multiple mechanical tools. In one implementation, the multi-purpose tool includes an elongated handle, a folding axe, and a folding shovel or spade, as well as a hammer or hammer-head. The folding axe is foldable between an open position and a closed position. The folding shovel is foldable among three positions, which are a closed shovel position, a 90-degree open shovel position, and a 180-degree extended shovel position. The elongated handle is hollow and includes an elongated cavity. A folding saw, as well as a knife and a sheath to protect the knife, are stored within the elongated cavity and can be removed therefrom.
ROTARY KNIFE HANDLE WITH KNUCKLE FASTENING
This invention relates to a rotating device which permits the reorientation of knives, mainly combat and survival knives, by forming part of the handle and characterized by gripping the knuckles of the hand. The device comprises: an axle which is anchored to the tang of the knife, the other end of which is shaped like a flattened disc to allow the knife to rotate, and the other end of which is shaped like a flattened disc to allow the knife to rotate.
The movable handle of the knife, which is characterized by containing a piece with an oval hole in longitudinal direction to capture the knuckles of the index, middle, ring and little fingers, and keep the hand attached to the handle while the knife is reoriented up and down and vice versa. In addition, it contains a slotted magnet that prevents twisting of the movable handle when the weapon is holstered.
Knife sheath
A knife sheath includes a receptacle and an attachment piece for suspending the knife sheath from a user. The knife sheath is provided with a collar which is detachably attached to the receptacle at an opening. An edge receiving portion of the collar is provided with a sharpener that imparts a sharpening action to a blade of a knife which is introduced into the receptacle. The receptacle and the collar are shaped to allow the collar and receptacle to be attached to each other in a first position and in an alternative second position such that the knife sheath is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.
Lockback folding knife with safety mechanism
A lockback folding knife having a handle, a blade body pivotally connected in the handle, a constraint member pivotally connected with the handle and having an end abutted with the peripheral edge of the blade body when the blade body is completely stretched out of or received into the handle, a first elastic element having an end fastened in the handle and other end abutted with other end of the constraint member, a locking pin protruded on the constraint member, and a safety switch pivotally connected in the handle and having a locking groove formed thereon corresponding to the locking pin. The locking groove and pin are fastened together when the blade body is completely stretched out of or received into the handle, and the locking groove is escaped from being fastened with the locking pin when the safety switch is applied force.
Retractable knife or saw with security hook
A tool, such as a saw or a knife, includes a hollow handle and a blade member that is movable alternatively into a storage position or a position of use. In the storage position the blade member is surrounded by and protected within the handle. In the position of use the blade member protrudes from the handle as an extension of the handle, with the blade member being lockable in relation to the handle either into the storage position or the position of use. The end of the blade member in the direction of the handle includes a hanger for suspending the tool, the hanger protruding from the handle when the blade member is in the storage position.
Cutter assembly having a screw-locking device
A cutter assembly has a blade holder, a blade, a slider and a screw-locking device. The blade is moveably mounted in the blade holder and has a moving direction. The blade holder has a bottom and multiple engaging segments disposed on the bottom along the moving direction of the blade. The slider is mounted slidably on the blade holder and connected to the blade. The screw-locking device is mounted on the slider and has a locking bolt and a locking sleeve screwed with each other. The locking bolt has an end selectively engaging at least one of the engaging segments.
Fixed blade knife with combined handle/sheath
Various disclosed embodiments include a knife assembly that includes a knife member having a blade portion and a tang portion. The knife assembly also including a handle member configured to be slidable from a knife position. At least a portion of the blade portion extends out of the handle member, to a storage position and the blade portion is substantially concealed by the handle member.

Method and device for drying a component interior
A method for drying a component interior of a component can be used in a lithographic process chain. The method includes a first drying step, in which simultaneously heated air is admitted into a component interior through an inlet, and the heated air is sucked out of the component interior through an outlet. The method also includes a succeeding second drying step, in which the inlet for the heated air is closed and the air is sucked out of the component interior, resulting in a reduced pressure is generated in the component interior.
