UTILITY KNIFE HAVING SAFETY GUARD AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A cutting device comprising: a housing containing a cutting blade with a portion of the cutting blade extending from the housing; a safety guard having an end positioned proximate to the cutting blade portion extending from the housing; and a spring-biased safety guard release connected to an elongated member, the elongated member in communication with an arcuate, flat spring extending from a second end of the safety guard. In this manner, as soon as pressure is released from the cutting blade, the safety guard returns to its home position even if the safety guard release button is still being pressed. Thus, the cutting blade is only fully exposed without the safety guard in place when the cutting blade is being used to cut an article.

Scraping tool
A scraping tool includes a first holding member having a first through-groove between a first holding portion and a first connecting portion. A second holding member includes a second through-groove between a second holding portion and a second connecting portion. The second connecting portion is connected to the first connecting portion to permit the second holding member to sway relative to the first holding member between a holding position and an extended position. A locking device includes first and second abutting portion respectively abutting against the first and second holding member and a sliding portion slideably extending through the first and second through-groove. The locking device is movable relative to the first and second holding member between a locking position in which the second holding member is in the holding position and a release position in which the second holding member is movable to the extended position.
Cushion back cutter with internal blade holder
A cushion back cutter includes finger holes that are shaped to make blade changes and adjustments faster and easier. The cushion back cutter includes a center plate with a recess forming a blade pocket for holding a slotted razor blade. The center plate includes a finger opening for removing a slotted razor blade. The finger opening, which may be non-circular, crosses an upper wall of the blade pocket that supports the blade. A second side plate is attached to a second side of the center plate, which also includes a finger opening.
Convenient blade changeable knife
A blade changeable knife includes a first holding member having a first holding portion and a first connecting portion and a second holding member having a second holding portion and a second connecting portion. The second holding portion and the second connecting portion is interconnected by a flexible portion. The second connecting portion is disposed on the first connecting portion. The second holding portion and the first holding portion are disposed oppositely. The second holding member is adapted to be flexed to a holding position and a releasing position in which the first and the second holding portions are disposed apart from each other. Further, a lock is movably engaged with the second holding member. The lock is disposed at a first position when the second holding member is in the holding position and at a second position when the second holding member is in the releasing position.
