Hunting Knife with Skinning Appliance
A tool, and a method using the tool, for skinning game animals. Specifically, the tool relates to a curved blade knife, sharpened on the curved, top edge, and possessing a spherical or non-spherical structure at the tip. The tool is used by forming a cut through the soft skin of a game animal, inserting the spherical or non-spherical structure through the cut, and pushing or pulling the blade such that the sharpened curved, top edge cuts through the skin and connective tissue. This tool and method takes advantage of the fact that the spherical or non-spherical structure at the tip of the blade is retained inside the skin and connective tissue of the game animal and the blade is automatically properly positioned to cut the skin of the game animal.
CUTTING-EDGE STRUCTURES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CUTTING-EDGE STRUCTURES
A novel cutting-edge structure and method and apparatus for manufacturing the cutting-edge structure is provided. The cutting-edge structure is comprised of naturally derived or renewable material at greater than 50% by volume fraction. In one embodiment, the naturally derived material is a cellulose nanostructure such as a cellulose nanocrystal. The cellulose nanocrystal is processed using a base or mold structure to provide a cutting edge of any shape such as linear or circular edge structures. The process includes dual cure steps to produce an optimal cutting-edge structure without shrinkage. The formed cutting-edge structure can be utilized as a razor blade as it is formed with very sharp tip and edge suitable for cutting hair. The base structure can form one or more cutting-edge structures simultaneously.
SHINGLE CUTTING KNIFE BLADE
A novel cutting device useful for cutting asphalt shingles and other roofing products features a blade having a top edge, a bottom edge located on an opposite side of the blade relative to the top edge, and left and right edges; a lower cutting edge adjacent the left or right edge; an upper sharpened edge positioned above the lower cutting edge and adjacent the same edge as the lower cutting edge, wherein the upper sharpened edge and the lower cutting edge are configured for cutting; at least one inner edge emanating from the bottom edge and angled towards the top edge, wherein the inner edge is tangent to the upper sharpened edge; and at least on fin or nodule disposed between the lower cutting edge and the upper sharpened edge, wherein the bottom edge is parallel to and shorter than the top edge.

HOOK BLADE ACCESSORY TOOL FOR AN OSCILLATING TOOL
An accessory tool for an oscillating power tool includes a mounting portion, and a blade portion that extends from the mounting portion. The blade portion includes a first lateral edge portion, a second lateral edge portion, and a leading edge portion. A cutting edge is defined in the second lateral edge portion that includes a rearward facing portion that extends generally laterally from a distal end portion of the second lateral edge portion toward the first lateral edge portion and a forward facing cutting edge portion that extends from said second lateral edge portion toward said first lateral edge portion. The rearward facing cutting edge portion is at least partially interposed between the leading edge portion and the mounting portion, and the forward facing cutting edge portion is at least partially interposed between the rearward facing cutting edge portion and the mounting portion.
