Telescopable multi-function knife
A one-hand operable telescopable knife assembly comprising an elongated outermost jacket enclosing an internal emission or containment chamber and an elongated knife blade assembly. A thumb stud is attached to and extends radially outwardly from the elongated knife blade assembly. The thumb stud extends slidingly through an elongated guide slot to permit a first locking notch to a second locking notch movement and control of the knife assembly contained within the outermost jacket. The first locking slot and the second locking slot are arranged at opposite ends of but are also arranged on the same side of the elongated guide slot. A transversely arranged slot on the blade assembly simultaneously lockingly engages a jacket locking tab at the second end of the outermost jacket upon rotation of the blade assembly by the thumb stud entering into the second locking slot on the side of the outermost jacket.
Multipurpose hand held tools
A multipurpose hand held tool includes a handle and one or more tools. The multipurpose tool further may include a multi-layered plier head. The multipurpose tool also may include a flashlight detachably coupled to the handle. In this manner, the multipurpose tool may incorporate multiple tools and accessories for completing various tasks.
Electronic Vapor Device Multitool
Disclosed is an electronic vapor device multitool apparatus. The apparatus can comprise any vaping device including e-cigarettes, hybrid communication device electronic vapor devices, robotic vapor devices, modified vapor devices mods, electronic vapor devices, and the like.
WIRELESS KNIFE FOR CUTTING AND SPREADING COLD FOOD
The invention relates to a wireless knife for cutting and spreading cold food consisting of a knife equipped with a heating system that heats the blade at the moment of use thereof, characterized in that it comprises a blade, preferably consisting of stainless steel, titanium or the like, with a heating resistance insulated by sheets of mica, and a handle provided with a rechargeable battery that can be extracted by means of a screwed top arranged on the handle that has a hole that can be adjusted to the support projection of a charging base connectable to the mains by means of a cable and a plug. The handle has an electronic control plate, a secondary coil, a push button, a regulator and a tricolor light-emitting diode. The support projection has a primary coil which induces the secondary coil. The positions of the regulator correspond to the colours of the LED.
Apparatus and method for encapsulating tritium
A module comprising: one or more vials containing tritium; one or more tritium covers; and an open space within the one or more tritium covers, wherein the one or more vials containing tritium are located within the open space of the one or more tritium covers so that the one or more tritium covers protect the one or more vials containing tritium, and wherein the one or more tritium covers are made from a material that exhibits sufficient strength so that the module protects the one or more vials containing tritium from damage when dropped from a distance of 1 m or more.
Active protection system and relative operating method in a portable cutting tool
An active protection system and method in a portable cutting tool with movable cutting members includes at least: a cutting member stop; a controller/processor triggering the stop upon the detection of a danger condition; a proximal electrode electrically coupled with a tool handle and a distal electrode electrically coupled with the cutting member, to make up an armature of a capacitor, the processing unit feeding an electric output signal into one of the electrodes and detecting an electric input signal on the other electrode. The electric output signal includes different frequencies. A detection unit detecting a complex impedance of the electric input signal at the different frequencies. The processing unit determines a danger condition and causes triggering of the stop based on a value of the magnitude of the complex impedance electric signal and on a phase difference of the impedance electric signal at the different frequencies.
Knife with integral sealed power source
A folding knife is provided with a power storage device that can be charged and recharged by a charge component that wirelessly receives power from a remote source. In some embodiments, the folding knife can have a device that consumes energy such as a light, a camera, a microphone, an audio speaker, etc. The power storage device and the charge component can be positioned in a scale of the handle where the substantially planar shapes of the scale, the power storage device, and the charge component are oriented in a common direction. In some embodiments, the cavities, recesses, and channels in the first scale that house these components and linking wires are strategically positioned to leave a reinforcing area that provides strength and stiffness to the handle. Various features are also described herein that improve safety of the charging system.
TOOL HAVING A DETECTABLE WIRELESS MARKER OR TAG
A tool having a detectable wireless marker or tag is provided. The tool has a working portion with a projection or tang by which the working portion of the tool is held, a wireless tag located near the tang, and a handle disposed over and encompassing the tang and the tag. In one embodiment, an article is formed onto the tang. The article includes a side opening in the form of a downwardly sloped slot sized to securely anchor and partially encompass the tag, which extends above and beyond the tang contained within the article. The invention allows for the use of fragile tags, which are protected by the inventive article from temperatures and pressures used during, for example, tool handle manufacturing processes. Also provided is a method for providing a tool with a detectable wireless tag, and a method for tracking and tracing tools used within a packaging facility.
Systems and methods for monitoring a wireless motor drive control system for handheld knives
A power pack for a power tool. The power pack includes an electric motor configured for driving engagement with the power tool. The power pack also includes a motor controller having a relay circuit connected a electric motor. The relay circuit includes has a switch selectively connected to a power supply. The power supply powers the electric motor. The motor controller also includes non-transitory computer-readable storage media having computer-executable instructions for monitoring operation of the stored power pack. When executed by at least one processor, the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to: monitor input data relating to operation of the power pack; determine, based on the input data, that operation of the power pack deviated from an ideal state; and, based on the determination of deviation, cause the switch to electrically disconnect the electric motor from the power supply.
POCKETKNIFE WITH ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES
A pocketknife with enhanced safety features, including a blade, and a handle hingedly connected to the blade at a top portion of the handle, the handle including a blade compartment to receive the blade therein, and a pressure plate disposed on a first side of the handle to release the blade from the blade compartment when the pressure plate is pressed.
