DISBUDDING SECATEURS
A method wherein secateurs provide shaped blades suitable for cutting the buds on the shoots of fruiting plants. In particular, the method is relative to secateurs with blades shaped for cutting the mother bud and the secondary buds of the shoots of grapevines in a simple and effective manner. The blades of the secateurs have in fact been designed so as to adapt them to the curvature of the cross section of the shoots.
BEDSIDE MEDICAL SCISSORS
Improved bedside medical scissors are provided, which include a first scissor component including a first handle component and a second scissor component including a second handle component. The first scissor component includes a plurality of circles, each with different sized diameters, and the second scissor component includes a plurality of measurement increments. The improved bedside medical scissors also feature a removable light positioned in the first handle component. The removable light being operable while positioned in the first handle component and while removed from the bedside medical scissors.
Scissors
Scissors including a pair of shanks with one end forming an upper shear blade and a lower shear blade and with the other end of the pair of shanks forming handles, the handles being opened and closed centered about a pivot where the shanks intersect and causing the upper shear blade and lower shear blade to open and close, and screw for loosely fastening the pivot with a degree of freedom so that the screws do not interfere with sliding of the blades when cutting an object, at least one of the upper shear blade and the lower shear blade being formed by an alloy having an elastic deformation ability of 0.2% or more.

Sampling scissors and method for using the same
Embodiments of the present invention provide a pair of sampling scissors and a method for using the sampling scissors. With the sampling scissors and the method, a sample of a rubbing cloth for testing may be obtained in a single operation, and damage to the rubbing cloth during the sampling process is thus decreased, so that the rubbing cloth will meet the requirement of uniformity of rubbing alignment. The sampling scissors comprise a tray, a blade, a first hand grip and a second hand grip; wherein the tray is connected with the first hand grip and the blade is connected with the second hand grip, and the first hand grip is pivotably connected with the second hand grip through a central shaft; and wherein the blade comprises a first cutting edge disposed at edges of the blade, and a projection of the first cutting edge onto a bottom surface of the tray is a hollow and closed pattern and the first cutting edge is perpendicular to the bottom surface of the tray for shearing off a sample which is to be received in the tray. The sampling scissors according to embodiments of the present invention are used to sample the rubbing cloth.
PET GROOMING TOOL
Provided are methods and apparatus for addressing mats and tangles in the fur of mammals. Specifically, provided herein is a doubled-bladed tool for mat and tangle-splitting that reduces or eliminates the pain and stress experienced by the animal during grooming.
GEARED HAND TOOL
A hand tool includes a first jaw; a second jaw rotatably coupled to the first jaw, the second jaw including a first set of projections and a first bearing surface, the first bearing surface having a first curvature; and a lever coupled to the first jaw, the lever including a second set of projections and a second bearing surface, the second bearing surface having a second curvature. During a movement of the first and second jaws from a full open position to a full close position, the first and second sets of projections are at least partially engaged to prevent a slippage between the first and second bearing surfaces that are in a rolling contact during the movement of the first and second jaws from the full open position to the full close position.
Scissors
Scissors include first and second body portions, and a pivot support portion that supports the first and second body portions. The scissors further include a movable transmission member attached to a handle of the first body portion, a spring provided between the handle of the first body portion and the movable transmission member, and rows of teeth configured to transmit urging force from the spring to the second body portion through the movable transmission member. The pivot support portion has a pivot and a pivot hole that enables the first and second body portions to be assembled and disassembled. The rows of teeth are provided on the movable transmission member and a handle of the second body portion, and can be attached to or detached from each other when assembling and disassembling the first and second body portions.
