Multipurpose scissors
Disclosed herein are multipurpose scissors. In the multipurpose scissors, an upper blade and a lower blade are connected by a pivot pin, opposite cutting edges are formed on the upper and lower blades in front of the pivot pin, and upper and lower handles configured to grip the upper and lower blades and to perform cutting work are provided in back of the pivot pin. The multipurpose scissors include a garlic mincing unit, including: a crushing part configured such that pluralities of depressions and protrusions are formed to engage with each other on the friction surfaces of the upper and lower handles; and a discharge guiding part formed on the inner side of the crushing part, and configured such that an inclined guide surface and a discharge groove configured to discharge garlic, minced via the crushing part, in one direction are formed therein.

Tool having one or more rotatable tool members
A tool is provided in order to facilitate utilization by users in a wide variety of applications. By way of example, a multipurpose tool may include first and second handles configured for relative movement between a closed position and an open position. At least the first handle includes an axle extending thereacross. The multipurpose tool also includes one or more tool members rotatably mounted upon the axle and foldable into the first handle and first and second jaws rotatably connected to the first and second handles, respectively. At least the first jaw defines an opening through which the axle of the first handle extends. The multipurpose tool further includes a resilient member disposed at least partially within the opening in order to apply a bias force to the first jaw during rotation of the first jaw relative to the first handle.

Kitchen tool
A kitchen tool having a straight blade peeler, a gouge and a base having at least one blade for trimming a root or crown from a vegetable. The at least one blade can be within a cavity in the base or in a cavity at an end of a handle. In a further example embodiment, the at least one blade is a pair of blades configured as a scissors or as a chopper.
Cutting tool with magnifier
In some embodiments, a magnifier defines a longitudinal axis A. The magnifier includes an arm with a distal end and a proximal end. A magnifying pane is located at the distal end and an engagement member is located at the proximal end. In various embodiments, the arm includes a distal segment, a mid segment, and a proximal segment. The distal segment is generally linear having a length L1 projected onto the longitudinal axis and is angled about 45 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis A. The mid segment is generally concave having a length L2 projected onto the longitudinal axis A. The proximal segment that is curved having a length L3 projected onto the longitudinal axis A and is convergent relative to the longitudinal axis A.

System for Self-escape from a Safety Harness Having a Plurality of Mounted Web Cutters and Glass Break Tools
A system for self-extrication from a safety harness by the wearer, or during rescue of the wearer, in the event of an emergency including one or more combination cutter and glass break tools mounted onto and around selected portions of the safety harness at predetermined positions for use in cutting the webbing straps of the safety harness in the event of the inoperability of any safety harness release resulting in the severing of the harness at said position and further resulting in the combination tool being freed for use in breaking glass out of a window of a vehicle.
TRACKABLE CUTTING IMPLEMENTS
Trackable cutting implements are provided. A trackable cutting implement includes a cutting implement, the cutting implement including a plastic body and a cavity defined in the plastic body, the cavity having an opening defined in an outer surface of the plastic body. A trackable cutting implement further includes a tag disposed within the cavity, the tag including a tracking indicium. A trackable cutting implement further includes an epoxy disposed within the cavity and covering the tag, wherein the tracking indicium is visible through the epoxy.
Sewer's multi-tool assembly
A sewer's multi-tool assembly for performing multiple sewing tasks with a single tool includes a pair of scissors that is hingedly coupled together for cutting fabric. A pair of magnets is provided and each of the magnets is coupled to a respective one of the scissors. Each of the magnets magnetically engages a sewing machine when the scissors are positioned on the sewing machine. In this way the scissors are inhibited from falling off the sewing machine. A pair of grips is each coupled to a respective one of the scissors for transporting the object without cutting the object. Each of the grips is spaced apart from each other when the scissors are closed such that neither of the grips impedes the scissors from closing and thusly cutting. A seam ripper is coupled to a respective one of the grips for ripping seams.
