Multi-purpose tool
A multi-purpose tool operated by a user for storing, opening, cutting, clamping and holding of articles is provided. The multi-purpose tool includes a first shear, a second shear movably coupled to the first shear at a pivot point and a ratchet extending from each finger grip. Each shear includes a finger grip, cutting edges, tines and gripping tips. Further, the multi-purpose tool includes ratchet extending from respective finger grips. Each ratchet having a plurality of ratchet teeth defined therein, the ratchets extending towards each other. The first cutting edge and the second cutting edge are adapted for extending around the article in a firm grip by engagement of the ratchets in order to clamp the article between the first cutting edge and the second cutting edge.

HAND-HELD TOOL AND FUNCTIONAL PART FOR A DETENT CONNECTION WITH A GRIP REGION OF A HAND-HELD TOOL
A hand-held tool has two tool parts which are arranged so as to cross one another in a joint region, each tool part forming a working region on one side of the joint region and a grip region on the other side. Each grip region is arranged in a first or second grip sleeve and the first and/or second grip sleeve is provided with a functional part. The first and/or second grip sleeve includes a passage opening extending in a longitudinal direction of the first and/or second grip sleeve and forming a first and/or second opening having a free opening cross-section. The functional part can be inserted into the passage opening in order to mount it on the first and/or second grip sleeve. The first and/or second opening is of substantially elongate rectangular design with respect to a cross-section transverse to a passage direction of the passage opening.
Shears
A shears comprising a first lever and a second lever, each lever having a blade end and a handle end, wherein the first lever is s-shaped such that the upper handle is at a higher elevation than the first lever blade end, the upper handle front portion projecting upwardly above the upper handle medial portion for engagement with the web between the thumb and forefinger of a user's hand to limit forward movement of the hand along the upper handle but not projecting upwardly above the upper handle rear portion, the lower handle having a lower surface formed of a high-friction material that is downwardly convex and shaped and dimensioned to conform to the curled fingers of a user's hand, the shears further comprising a ripping blade detachably mountable to the first lever blade end, the shears further comprising handle stop with a spring for biasing the shears in the open position.
