PAIR OF SCISSORS
A pair of scissors has two handles, two blades, and a pivot assembly. The handles are connected with each other and respectively have a pivotal hole. The blades are pivotally connected with each other, are connected respectively with the handles, and respectively have a pivotal hole. The pivot assembly is mounted in the pivotal holes in the handles and the blades to pivotally connect the handles and the blades with each other and has a pivotal rod. The pivotal rod has two pivotal segments. Each pivotal segment has a cross section. One of the pivotal segments has a non-circular cross section and the other pivotal segment has a circular cross section. The pivotal holes in the handles and the blades are same in shape as the cross section of the pivotal segments respectively.

HAND TOOL
The invention discloses a single-shaft hand tool, which comprises a first body and a second body. Wherein the first body is provided with a groove, the second body is provided with a protrusion, the protrusion is mounted within the groove in a nested manner, thus enabling the first body to be pivotally connected to the second body by means of a virtual pivot. The invention also discloses a double-shaft hand tool, which comprises a first body and a second body. The first body is pivotally connected to the second body by means of a virtual pivot. The first body is provided with a third groove and a first hole, the second body is provided with a fourth groove and a second hole. A first fastener passes through the first hole and the fourth groove. Meanwhile, a second fastener passes through the second hole and the third groove. Therefore, the first body is fixedly connected to the second body in the direction parallel to the axis of the virtual pivot.

Children's Ergonomic Scissors
A pair of scissors especially designed for children incorporates various ergonomic features to facilitate usage by a child. The shank and handle of one scissor are disposed at an offset angle to the blade. An assist leaf is pivotally mounted to one of the handles and is movable to engage the other handle to establish a minimum opening angle for the blades. The assist leaf in its functional position is resilient and imparts a slight spring reaction force upon application of a compressive force between the thumb and fingers. The minimum opening angle facilitates usage by the child since the opening and closing force on the scissors is lessened. The leaf is pivotal to a retracted position when the blades are in a fully closed position.
Lopping shears with offset blade
Loppers include first and second elongated handles that are both directly connected and indirectly connected through a linkage assembly. The first handle has a static blade having a concave shearing edge extending generally transverse from the longitudinal axis of the first handle. The second handle has a curved end portion that curves toward the first handle and is pivotally secured to the static blade. An articulated blade has a convex cutting edge and is rotatably secured to the static blade. A link connects the curved end portion to an end of the articulated blade. Movement of the second handle relative to the first handle pivots the curved end portion about the static blade, thereby moving the cutting edge relative to the shearing edge via the link. The static blade and articulate blade are offset from the handles and extend generally transverse to the longitudinal axis of the first handle.

SCISSORS
Scissors, especially surgical scissors, having first and second elongate members each having a handle portion and a blade portion and being connected by a pivot between the handle portions and the blade portions for relative pivotal movement generally in a cutting plane during a cutting stroke. At least one of the handle portions supports a channel member having a length that extends toward, embraces and extends beyond the handle portion of the other elongate member to restrain movement of the handle portions out of the cutting plane and thus to resist relative lateral movement of the blade portions away from each other during the cutting stroke. The scissors are robust and are able to cleanly, effectively and accurately cut tough or slippery items which might otherwise cause the blades to splay away from each other.

PRUNING SHEAR DEVICE SWITCHABLE BETWEEN DIFFERENT OPERATING MODES
A pruning shear device includes a pair of pruning shears with a lug located at a rear end of a cutter blade thereof, and a switch unit including a position-limiting member movable between a first position where the position-limiting member is abutted against the lug for enabling the pruning shears to perform in a normal operating mode for cutting off small tree branches through a single-stage force-applying operation and a second position where the position-limiting member is kept away from the lug for enabling the pruning shears to perform in an effort-saving operating mode for cutting off large tree branches through a multi-stage force-applying operation.
