Fiber-resin composite bolt cutter tool
A light-weight bolt cutter tool includes a pair of opposing pivotally mounted jaws, each made from a fiber-reinforced composite body jacketed by a blade having a hardened metal outer surface oriented to forcibly engage the other one of said jaws. The bolt cutter tool can be actuated by a pair of elongated, hollow fiber resin composite handles. Each handle can include an elastomeric damping plug to prevent debris entering the hollow handle and reduce material fatigue. A quick-deployment, quiver-style backpack can conveniently carry the colt cutters when not in use.

METHOD AND TOOL FOR DISCONNECTING A LINE SPLICE
A sleeve is made up of two halves which in one embodiment are identical. The sleeve includes a channel extending along the length thereof, which is sized to receive a line therein, which line is to be removed from a splice. The sleeve includes a shim on an end thereof which is sized to fit into an end of the splice, with a tip of the shim pushing back jaws of the splice to remove the line from the splice. A casing fits over the sleeve halves to hold them together. This casing includes a first half and the second half which are pivoted together about a pivot joint. The tool including the casing and sleeve halves can slide along the line to allow the tip of the shim to fit into the end of the splice and push back the jaws to release the line.
Opening-closing device
The present invention provides an opening-closing device including a first component, a second component and a third component. The second component is rotatably connected with the first component, and the third component is rotatably connected with the second component. The present invention further includes a mode switching device for switching operating modes of the opening-closing device. The operating modes include a conventional mode and a labor-saving mode. When the opening-closing device is in the conventional mode, the third component is fixed relative to the second component. When the opening-closing device is in the labor-saving mode, the third component is rotated in the opening direction relative to the second component during opening of the opening-closing device, and the third component is rotated in the closing direction relative to the second component during closing of the opening-closing device.
Tool with function of fastening and cutting clamping band
This invention provides a tool with a function of fastening and cutting a clamping band, including a left pliers head, a right pliers head and a switching structure. The right pliers head and the left pliers head cooperate with each other to fasten and cut the clamping band. The switching structure is disposed at the left pliers head and the right pliers head to adjust the distance between the left pliers head and the right pliers head when the left pliers head and the right pliers head clamp tightly. The tool with the function of fastening and cutting the clamping band provided in this invention achieves one tool with two functions.

OPEN-CLOSE DEVICE
The present invention provides an open-close device, including a first member, a second member, a third member and a fourth member; the second member is rotatably connected to the first member, the third member is rotatably connected to the first member, the fourth member is rotatably connected to the second member and rotatably connected to the third member; the open-close device further includes an angle adjusting device which is provided at a joint between the third member and the first member, for adjusting the bending angle of the third member with respect to the first member.
Emergency room ring cracker and cutter
The present invention discloses a ring cutter and ring cracker intended for use by medical personnel. The ring cutter employs a tissue guard that slips under the ring to protect the patient's finger or other appendage. A clipper head is inserted into the tissue guard. The tissue guard does not move and prevents the jaws of the clipper from injuring the patient. The tissue guard may be constructed of plastic that will break away after use to prevent contamination between patients. The invention also incorporates a ring cracker for breaking tungsten or ceramic rings. A recess in a ring base in one of the arms of the ring clipper retains a part of a ring. In the other arm, a threaded bolt with a hardened tip extends toward the ring. The arms of the clipper can be locked by a bar in a fixed position. A knob on the bolt allows a hardened tip at the end of the bolt to exert pressure on the tungsten or ceramic ring until it cracks, without injury to the patient.
