The razor head further comprises a plurality of substantially parallel cutting members disposed between the leading longitudinal member and the trailing longitudinal member, and a cutting member support arranged in the frame, wherein the cutting member support is coupled to the plurality of cutting members. The cutting member support is configured to displace at least one cutting member of the plurality of cutting members from a default position to at least one predetermined deviating position based on an external stimulus.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a personal care device, in particular hair removal device such as an electric shaver, comprising an elongated handle for manually moving the personal care device along a body surface, a working head attached to said handle for effecting a personal care treatment to said body surface, wherein an adjustment device including at least one adjustment actuator is provided for adjusting at least one treatment characteristic, wherein said adjustment actuator is configured and controlled to adjust said at least one treatment characteristic from a first setting to a second setting within a transition time period of not less than 0.1 seconds and not more than 1.5 seconds.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a personal care device, in particular hair removal device such as an electric shaver, comprising an elongated handle for manually moving the personal care device along a body surface, a working head attached to said handle for effecting a personal care treatment to said body surface, said working head being movably supported relative to said handle and/or including a working head element being movably supported relative to a working head basis to allow adaption of the working head and/or of the working head element to the body surface contour, wherein an adjustment device is provided for adjusting a movability characteristic of a suspension of said working head and/or of said working head element, wherein said adjustment device includes at least one actuator for adjusting at least one characteristic.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a personal care device, in particular hair removal device such as an electric shaver, comprising an elongated handle for manually moving the personal care device in short and/or long strokes along a body surface, a working head attached to said handle for effecting a personal care treatment to said body surface, and a determination unit including at least one sensor for determining stroke length to differentiate between short and long strokes, wherein said determination unit is configured to determine velocity of the working head and/or the handle, to determine beginning and end points of strokes when the determined velocity gets zero and/or changes signs, and to determine stroke length from the distance between pairs of beginning and end points next to each other.
HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE
The present invention relates to a hair removal device, such as an electric shaver or epilator, comprising a hair cutting unit, a motor for driving the hair cutting unit, a measurement unit for measuring motor current and/or induced voltage and a cutting activity determinator for determining cutting activity from the half cycles of the signal of said measurement unit, wherein a wear determination unit is provided for determining wear of the hair cutting unit from the cutting activity signal of said cutting activity determinator.
ATTACHMENT FOR ELECTRIC HAIR-CUTTING DEVICE
An attachment which is detachably attached to an electric hair-cutting device having a blade part, and is selectable between a first use mode in which the attachment is used with a first side of the blade part coming into contact with a skin and a second use mode in which the attachment is used with a second side of the blade part coming into contact with the skin. The attachment includes a comb part disposed around the blade part. The comb part includes at least one first comb having a first skin contact surface coming into contact with the skin when the first use mode is selected, a second skin contact surface coming into contact with the skin when the second use mode is selected, a first hair raising groove formed on the first skin contact surface, and a second hair raising groove formed on the second skin contact surface.
Shearing head for an animal shearing machine and an animal shearing machine
A shearing head for an animal shearing machine, comprising an upper blade and a lower blade, whereby the upper blade is movable relative to the lower blade. A pressure control device, comprising a rotatable control knob, with which the pressure of the upper blade on the lower blade is settable. The pressure control device further comprises a pressure indicator pin disposed coaxially with respect to the control knob and movable in a translational way. The pressure indicator pin is at least partially visible to a user of the shearing head and the axial position of the pressure indicator pin relative to the control knob is dependent upon the pressure of the upper blade on the lower blade set with the pressure control device.
DETERMINING A LOCATION OF A DEVICE
A computer-implemented method of determining a location of a personal care device with respect to a skin surface of a subject, the personal care device being configured to perform a personal care treatment to the skin when in contact with the skin surface. The method includes receiving data representative of a measured degree of curvature of the skin surface within a first region of the skin surface of the subject, with which the personal care device is in contact; determining, by comparing the measured degree of curvature with curvature information for a plurality of regions of the skin surface of the subject contained in a database, an indication of a location of the first region of the skin surface on the subject; and performing, based on the determined indication of the location of the first region, an action in respect of the personal care device. A processing apparatus, a system, a personal care device, and a computer program product are also disclosed.
HAIR-CUTTING UNIT FOR USE IN A HAIR-CUTTING APPLIANCE
A hair-cutting unit (4) for use in a hair-cutting appliance comprises an external cutting member (5) having hair-entry openings in a cutting track surface (58), an internal cutting member (6) having at least one hair-cutting element and being movable with respect to the external cutting member (5), and a skin-supporting structure (7) having a skin-supporting surface (71) for contacting a portion of skin to be subjected to a hair-cutting action. The external cutting member (5) is displaceable relative to the skin-supporting structure (7), and the hair-cutting unit (4) further comprises a safety mechanism which is designed to enable stepped and instantaneous variation between at least two discrete stages of a level (l.sub.c) of the cutting track surface (58) with respect to a level (l.sub.s) of the skin-supporting surface (71), in relation to pressure exerted by the external cutting member (5) on the skin.
