Shaving razor cartridge
A method of assembling a razor cartridge. A housing is injection molded. An elastomer is co-injection molded to the housing forming a pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A primary blade member having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. The cutting edge of the primary blade member is contacted with the laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A blade retention member is mounted to a top surface of the housing. A pair of lateral ends of the cutting edge of the primary blade member is constrained between the blade retention member and the pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers.
HANDLE WITH AN EJECTOR FOR A WET RAZOR
The invention relates to a handle for a wet razor including a handle section as well as a coupling section for detachably attaching a cutting unit to the handle. The coupling section comprises a housing section including a housing cavity, which has an insertion opening at the end directed toward the cutting unit and an operating opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises a connector including fastening elements, which engage in the housing section, and including a peg, which protrudes beyond the plane of the insertion opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises an ejector, which is inserted into the housing cavity so as to be axially displaceable, including a spring element, which axially urges the ejector into the housing cavity, and a ram, which during axial displacement of the ejector in the direction toward the cutting unit extends beyond the plane of the insertion opening. Finally, the coupling section comprises an operating button, which passes through the operating opening and acts on the ejector so as to enable the axial displacement thereof.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Warming lubrication strips or lubricating material on razor blade cartridge
A razor having a handle and blade cartridge containing one or more blades includes a battery power source and a heating system powered by the battery source for heating the one or more blades and/or a heating element on the blade cartridge. The blade cartridge further includes a strip of lubricating material thereon that is heated by the heating system when the blades and/or heating element warm up. As the strip of lubricating material is warmed up, it provides a release of extra lubricating chemicals, including fats or other lubricating agents. This helps to provide a more comfortable shave while also protecting the user's skin both during shaving and after shaving.
ELECTRIC SHAVER WITH IMAGING CAPABILITY
System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.
SHAVING RAZOR CONTAINER
A shaving razor container with a top surface defining an upper opening. The top surface has a first pair of inner side walls defining a slot. A bottom surface of the shaving razor container defines a lower opening in communication with the upper opening. A side surface of the shaving razor container extends between the top surface and the bottom surface. A first projection extends from the bottom surface toward the top surface. The slot and the projection are configured to engage a shaving razor handle.
SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR A PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT
This invention relates to a novel of making a personal care product including the steps of providing a treatment sheet comprised of a first material and a first plurality of apertures and joining a support structure to the lower surface of the treatment sheet. The support structure includes a support material, a support sheet, a support ring, or any combination thereof. The support sheet includes a second plurality of apertures. The support sheet is disposed beneath the treatment sheet by aligning the first plurality of apertures and the second plurality of apertures. Fluid support material is solidified such that the treatment sheet and the support sheet are bonded together. The support ring is disposed on a housing (e.g., in a groove) below the support sheet or joined to the treatment sheet via the support material prior to solidifying.
SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR A PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT
This invention relates to a novel personal care product which having a treatment unit which includes a treatment sheet and a support structure. The treatment sheet includes apertures with cutting edges while the support structure, joined to the treatment sheet, is formed of a support material, a support sheet or a support ring, or any combination thereof. The support structure assists in reducing damage to the treatment sheet and in preventing injury to the consumer (e.g., if the personal care product is dropped).
SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR A PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT
This invention relates to a novel personal care product having a treatment sheet includes a first material and a plurality of first apertures, and at least one support sheet includes a second material and a plurality of second apertures, the at least one support sheet disposed beneath the treatment sheet and desirably joined to the treatment sheet. The first apertures of the treatment sheet include cutting edges generally formed on at least a portion of an inner perimeter of the first apertures while the support sheet does not include cutting apertures. The first and second apertures are aligned such that from a top view of the product, the apertures of the support sheet are not visible, providing ease of rinsing. The support sheet assists in reducing damage to the treatment sheet (e.g., if the personal care product is dropped).
FRAME MEMBER FOR USE WITH TREATMENT SHEET
This invention relates to a novel personal care product and method of assembling the product including an upper product end and a lower product end, a housing at the upper product end, the housing having a housing wall and one or more windows in the housing wall, a frame member including one or more tabs, the one or more tabs coupled to the one or more windows. The number of tabs can equal the number of windows. The housing may also include notches within which the tabs are disposed.
