SHAVING RAZOR ACCESSORY
Shaving razors and cartridges are featured which include one or more removably attachable shaving aid accessories.
Razor handle with movable members
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.
Shaver and methods for detecting shaving characteristics
A shaving system including a shaver having a handle, a razor cartridge, and one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors may be configured to detect a characteristic of at least one of the shaver or a body part of a user and to generate a sensor signal representative of the characteristic. A processor may be operably coupled to the one or more sensors and may have at least one algorithm stored thereon for analyzing the sensor signal to determine a status of the shaving session. An indicator may be operably coupled to the processor, and the indicator may be configured to provide feedback to the user regarding the status of the shaving session.
RAZOR HAVING A HAIR-CUTTING FIBER
Razor having a hair-cutting fiber having a hair-cutting section attached to a support in such a position relative to a skin engaging surface that the hair-cutting section is exposed to a user's skin for cutting through hairs when the skin engaging surface is in contact with the skin and moved over the skin. The hair-cutting section has a fiber diameter smaller than or equal to 7 μm and is made from a fiber material having a tensile strength larger than or equal to 5 GPa. A shaving method using such a razor is also described.
Haircutter and haircutting blade
The haircutter according to the invention serves for trimming and styling hair and comprises a grip and a blade head connected with the grip. A working section is disposed at one longitudinal face of the blade head and recessed from an alignment line of the longitudinal face. A haircutting blade having at least one cutting edge is accommodated in the blade head and disposed so as to expose at least part of its cutting edge in the working section and to not protrude beyond the alignment line. The blade head comprises a guiding device having at least one placing surface for the hair to be trimmed so that the hair to be trimmed lies at a defined angle to the cutting edge as the placing surface is placed against the hair.
Protector for a razor cartridge, a shaving assembly, a wet shaving razor, and a method of using such a wet shaving razor
A protector for a razor cartridge is provided. The protector includes a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis and having a front face and a rear face. The protector further is provided with a first comb disposed on the front face and a second comb opposite the first comb. The protector also includes a first trimming blade has a first cutting edge and a second trimming blade opposite the first trimming blade has a second cutting edge. The first comb and the second comb have several teeth projecting along an axis that is oblique to the longitudinal axis defining a trimming length. The trimming length is adjustable. The teeth of the first comb protrude forwardly with respect to the first cutting edge and the teeth of the second comb protrude forwardly with respect to the second cutting edge.
MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT FOR SHAVING CARTRIDGE
Shaving systems are disclosed that include a replaceable shaving assembly and a cartridge connecting structure for connecting the shaving assembly to a handle. In preferred implementations, the cartridge connecting structure has a magnetic portion configured to help draw the cartridge onto the handle and retain the cartridge in place when the razor is not in contact with the skin, and a mechanical engagement that provides the necessary retention forces required to keep the system intact during shaving.
