ERGONOMIC CUTTING TOOL
What is disclosed is an improved cutting tool to provide improved cutting of small diameter materials, such as stems of flowers and other plants. The device provides a cutting mechanism that is parallel to or in the same plane of a circumference of a ring that is worn on the user's finger. This provides for an increased ergonomic cutting tool. The cutting tool has a blade and an opposing portion that is configured to retain the material to be cut while the blade is pressed into the material or the material can be pushed onto the blade. The device is preferably constructed of a unitary molded plastic with an integrated blade formed in the material.
Mechanism For Piercing Seals And Packaging
The present disclosure provides for a piercing device for breaking through, cutting, or piercing seals and other packaging, particularly medical packaging. The piercing device may comprise a ring portion. The ring portion may comprise a sleeve or an enclosed fitting. The ring portion may comprise one or more tips and one or more openings. Each tip may comprise one or more extruded edges. The tips may be replaceable or disposable. The tips may comprise an extruded ridge to assist with opening secured containers with lids or other covers. In aspects wherein the piercing device may comprise a plurality of openings, at least one of the openings may interface with a knuckle of a human digit, such as a thumb or index finger, to increase the flexibility of the piercing device. The piercing device may comprise a material that can be sanitized and disinfected.
Safety Knife Device
A safety knife device includes a knife blade having a working end portion and a securing portion opposite the working end portion; and a knife handle having, a handle first end coupled to the securing portion of the knife blade, and a handle second end to receive a finger protecting article. The handle second end comprises a seating portion that is tapered to geometrically provide for the seating portion of the handle second end to nest at least partially within an opening of the finger protecting article such that an external surface of the finger protecting article lies substantially co-planar to the un-tapered, non-nested portion of the handle second end when received by the seating portion of the handle second end. The knife handle and the finger protecting article may also include integrated magnets of opposite polarity or a detent mechanism to facilitate coupling and securing the finger protecting article to the handle second end.
WEARABLE CUTTING APPARATUS
A glove comprises a flexible area configured to be worn on a hand of a user, the flexible area being positioned to be secured on a palm of the hand. The glove also comprises a reinforced area coupled to the flexible area, the reinforced area configured to engage a thumb of the hand and extend towards the palm of the hand. The glove further comprises a protrusion on the reinforced area, the protrusion comprising a blade. The protrusion orients the blade at an angle with respect to the reinforced area.
Self Defense Ring
The invention provides a ring for use in self-defense including a base with a band that is worn on a finger of a user, a blade fixed to the outer circumference of the band, wherein the blade protrudes from the outer circumference of the band, a base connecting mechanism joined to a portion of the blade that is fixed to the outer circumference of the band, and a ring top comprising a top connecting mechanism, and an ornamental top, wherein the top connecting mechanism is joined to a portion of the ornamental top.
DEVICE WITH A ASSISTED OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISM
Embodiments, alternatives and variations of a device with a assisted opening and closing mechanism for the opening and closing of at least one shaft. Finger rings and other items is configured with components to conveniently, easily and quickly open and close at least one shaft with at least one tensioning mechanism. Other uses of said devices comprise use as a knife, as a tool, a way of relaxation, for therapeutic use, for educational use, as a toy, for self defence, and for entertainment purposes.
SEAT BELT CUTTER
A seat belt cutter includes a body. The body has a slot and a channel each formed along the length. A pull arm is slidably engaged within the channel. The pull arm includes a first end and a second end. A blade protrudes from the first end and into the slot. The second end of the pull arm includes a handle disposed outside of the body.
Multifunctional finger ring
A multifunctional finger ring, comprising a finger ring body (10) and a blade (30) movably provided on the finger ring body (10); the finger ring body (10) comprises an inner ring (11), a first outer half ring (20) and a second outer half ring (26); the first outer half ring (20) and the second outer half ring (26) are oppositely sleeved on the upper and lower sides of the inner ring (11), and the first outer half ring (20) can be assembled on the inner ring (11); the blade (30) is hidden between the first outer half ring (20) and the inner ring (11) when closed, the second outer half ring (26) is integrally connected to the inner ring (11); positioning grooves (261) are provided at the connections between the upper ends of two sides of the second outer half ring (26) and the inner ring (11), and positioning blocks (21) corresponding to the positioning grooves (261) are provided at the lower ends of two sides of the first outer half ring (20), and during assembly, the positioning blocks (21) are embedded into the positioning grooves (261); and limiting protruding blocks (15) are provided on outer surfaces of the left and right sides of the inner ring (11), and limiting grooves (22) corresponding to the limiting protruding blocks (15) are provided on inner surfaces of the left and right sides of the first outer half ring (20), and during assembly, the limiting protruding blocks (15) are embedded into the limiting grooves (12).
