The present disclosure relates to safety blades for use in utility knives, related assemblies and methods of manufacturing. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to safety blades for use in utility knives, related assemblies and methods of manufacture which limit user exposure to associated cutting edges.
KNIFE ATTACHMENT TO PREVENT FOOD FROM STICKING
The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking is configured for use with a knife blade. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking is a non-stick structure. A first instantiation of the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the face of the blade with the greatest surface area. An optional second instantiation of the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the face of the blade with the second greatest surface area. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the blade such that the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking presents a non-stick surface as the exterior surface of the blade. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking further comprises a scraping structure. The scraping structure facilitates the movement of an object, such as a foodstuff, along a horizontal surface.

An edged tool storage device storing a kitchen knife and the like has a structure including a pedestal, a support rod that extends in a substantially vertical direction from the pedestal, and a first edged tool cover and a second edged tool cover that are removably connected to the support rod and store edged tools, in which each of the first edged tool cover and the second edged tool cover includes a holding part that is elastically fitted onto the support rod and thus holds the support rod, and is removably connected to the support rod by the holding part, and the holding part of the first edged tool cover and the holding part of the second edged tool cover are different in height when connected to the support rod.

An edged tool storage device storing a kitchen knife and the like has a structure including a pedestal, a support rod that extends in a substantially vertical direction from the pedestal, and a first edged tool cover and a second edged tool cover that are removably connected to the support rod and store edged tools, in which each of the first edged tool cover and the second edged tool cover includes a holding part that is elastically fitted onto the support rod and thus holds the support rod, and is removably connected to the support rod by the holding part, and the holding part of the first edged tool cover and the holding part of the second edged tool cover are different in height when connected to the support rod.

A knife with an extended handle includes one side of the handle, either as part of the original structure or bonded or welded to that original structure, that projects or extends forward onto the base of the knife blade on one side thereof, thereby providing a gripping surface for the user's thumb, and onto or alongside the spine of the knife blade to provide a proximal phalanx platform for the user's forefinger. The spine may have a notch formed therein proximal, and wherein the finger platform rests in or alongside the notch. The finger platform may have a concave surface contour, and the concave surface contour may be coextensive with the notch.

Safety Utility Knife
A safety utility knife includes a resin-made grip part, a blade projecting from the grip part, and a resin-made head part arranged at a tip of the projecting blade. The blade is formed with a through-hole so that a resin-made coupling part lying within the through-hole couples together the grip part and the head part that are made of resin. Since the safety utility knife of the present invention allows the three resin-made parts to be joined together, it can be manufactured easily and at low cost using a 1-gate type mold. Also, there is no unnecessary increase in the blade thickness, preventing an increased cutting resistance and a rough cut end from occurring.
