Non-slip ruler for measuring, marking and/or cutting fabrics and other soft materials and method thereof
A device for measuring and cutting soft materials, wherein the device has a lower section and an upper section, the lower section having a bottom surface and a top surface, and at least one opening extending from the top surface to the lower surface. Bendable means on the upper section, and at least one piercing object carried by the bendable means, wherein the bendable means bends in response to a downward force applied to it, causing the piercing means to move through the opening and engage the soft material, said bendable means being self-retracting so that it returns to a natural resting position when the force ceases to exist, causing the piercing object to disengage from the soft material.
Bezel making device
A bezel making device is provided which may be used for the manufacture of fancy bezels, castellated bezels, serrated bezels, and other jewelry structures using a bezel material. In some embodiments, the device may include a front plate and a back plate. The front plate may have a first crenellated edge, the first crenellated edge having a plurality of first merlons and first crenels, in which each first merlon of the plurality of first merlons and first crenels is separated from an adjacent first merlon by a first crenel. The back plate may have a second merlon (preferably of a second crenellated edge having a plurality of second merlons and second crenels) and the bezel material may be held between the front plate and back plate by tensioning the bezel material between the plurality of first merlons and first crenels and the one or more second merlons.

Slicer Apparatus
A manually-operated, foodstuff slicer includes a top plate and bottom plate coupled together and housing a cutting blade within a recess formed between the plates. The top plate and bottom plate include spaced, circular holes defined therethrough and axially aligned, respectively, and the planar cutting blade having a handle and a plurality of circular holes which correspond in size and shape to the holes defined through the top and bottom plates. The blade is slidably retained between the top and bottom plates and movable along a plane similar to the plates.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FOOD DEHYDRATION
Embodiments herein include devices adaptable to dehydrate articles, including foods. Embodiments are shown which can be compacted for reduced storage, and/or shipping requirements and/or for other purposes. Embodiments include simple, inexpensive means for controlling dehydrating conditions, including airflow. Various article holding devices, including devices to hold foods being dehydrated, are also shown. Such devices include vertical, diagonal, and horizontal panels to secure articles. Embodiments shown have variations which include the use of non-motorized convection airflow, as well as devices which incorporate motor driven air movement means. Embodiments are shown which may be used for preparing articles, including foods, for dehydration, including slicing such articles.
Coin wrapper cutter
A cutting apparatus cuts a wrapper of a roll of coins along a longitudinal axis. The cutting apparatus includes an interior cavity between a front cover and a back cover and a rail section disposed beneath the interior cavity. The rail section includes an opening through a cross section of the flat rail section, wherein a cutting surface extends through the opening and the roll of coins is compressed against the rail section while cutting. The cutting apparatus further includes overhangs oriented at edges of, perpendicular to and extending below the flat rail section, the overhangs aligned with the front cover.

PIZZA PAN WITH PRECISE CUTTING GUIDELINES
A cooking pan includes guidelines configured to aid in precisely cutting a food product into slices with desired shapes. The cooking pan includes a flat base, at least one raised wall surrounding the flat base, and a rim at a top of the raised wall. The pan further includes a plurality of the guidelines formed upon the pan, each guideline comprising a depressed groove, wherein each guideline extends contiguously from the flat base, up the raised wall, and onto the rim.
SLOTTED RULER
A ruler with a slot is described herein. The slotted ruler may include a plurality of widthwise and lengthwise lines that form different sized rectangles and squares located above and below the slot for measuring. The lines may be spaced at fractional metric or imperial intervals. The slotted ruler may further include a plurality of hatch marks. The slotted ruler may further include a set of at least the numbers one, two, three and four spaced 1 centimeter or 1 inch apart located above the slot, an aligned set of numbers located below the slot, as well as an offset set of numbers.
