CONDUIT CUTTING ASSEMBLY
A conduit cutting assembly is comprised of a conduit cutting surface, a drive shaft, a top shield and a bottom guide. The conduit cutting assembly is inserted into a rotary device which provides a torque to rotate the conduit cutting assembly. The shield glides along the top surface of the conduit preventing deeper penetration of the cutting surface and deflecting dust as conduit is cut. The guide is positioned on the internal side of the conduit and prevents the cutting surface from contacting encased wiring. The distance between the bottom surface of the shield and the top surface of the guide is closely aligned to the conduit wall thickness. Conduit cutting assemblies can be customized for conduit material and conduit wall thickness. The conduit cutting assembly safely cuts through conduit without damaging encased wiring, limits incidental contact with the cutting surface, and limits contact with dust generated through the cutting procedure.
Apparatus for slabbing rolls of tissue
An unlaid slabbing apparatus capable of profiling a roll of tissue material by determining the diameter, circumference, and weight of the roll. The slabbing apparatus calculates the amount of material to be removed based on operator input and predetermined parameters of weight, diameter, and density.
Cutting tool for scoring a hose over a fitting
Cutting tools are provided for scoring a hose over a fitting. The cutting tool includes a handle with a central pass-through for the hose, and a scoring mechanism adjustably coupled to the handle. The scoring mechanism includes a base member with a central pass-through for the hose, and which is adjustably coupled to the handle. The scoring mechanism further includes an arm-blade subassembly coupled to the base member. The subassembly includes a blade, and an arm with a blade-receiving recess, and a guide surface to contact and travel along a hose. The blade is coupled to the arm within the blade-receiving recess to extend a selected penetration depth from the arm. The arm is radially adjustable with adjustment of the base member relative to the handle to physically contact the guide surface to the hose and insert the blade into the hose the selected penetration depth.
Device for separating a tubular web
The invention relates to a Device (10) for separating a tubular web (11) in two flat webs (12, 13) with an adjustable blade (20) for cutting the tubular web (11) and with a pulling device (30) which impinges the blade (20) with a tensile force (K) on a folding edge (14) of the tubular web (11) wherein the pulling device (30) is configured in a way that the tensile force (K) is adjustable depending on the tubular properties of the tubular web (11) and that the tensile force (K) can be mainly kept constant with constant tubular properties independent from the tubular web (11).

Tube slitter with off-axis hinge
A tube jacket slitting tool including first and second opposite tool portions, each tool portion including a common hinged portion at a first end for engaging the opposite tool portion. The first and second opposite tool portions are foldable about the hinged portion between an open position and a closed position. The tool includes at least one concave surface extending across the width of forming an opening, when the first and second opposite tool portions are in the closed position, through which a tube may be slid. The tool includes a blade extending inward into the opening for slitting a depth of the tube jacket as it is moved with respect to the tool. The tool includes a hinge pivot axis in the hinged portion extending in a direction substantially in the direction of the width and at an acute angle to either the plane or to the longitudinal axis of the tube or cable in the opening formed by the at least one concave surface. When the first and second opposite tool portions are folded to the closed position with the tube or cable in the opening, movement of the tube or cable with respect to the tool causes the first and second opposite tool portions to be urged toward each other.
Crayon carving device
Devices, kits, and methods for making a carved crayon are provided. In one aspect, a crayon carving device includes a base, a pantograph armature coupled to the base, a crayon positioner, and at least one guide template parallel to the crayon positioner. The kit may further include a wrapper removal mechanism configured to remove a wrapper from a crayon, such that the crayon carving device may be used on an exposed crayon surface.
Blade for a stripping and cutting tool
A blade for a stripping and peeling tool for stripping and peeling a pre-insulated pipe. The blade comprises a main body having a cutting edge disposed on a longitudinal edge thereof, and an insert blade having an axle for mounting in the main body so that a cutting edge of the insert blade runs parallel to the cutting edge of the main body.

PIPE SPLITTING APPARATUS WITH REPLACEABLE BLADE
Pipe splitting apparatuses and systems including a replaceable blade, and methods therefor, are provided. In various examples, a pipe splitting apparatus includes an outer surface including a recess. A blade including a portion is disposed within the recess. A hardenable material is disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is configured to flow upon application to fill empty space within the recess and at least partially around the portion of the blade disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is further configured to harden after application to secure the portion of the blade within the recess and fix the blade to the pipe splitting apparatus.
