Multi-functional tool for flexible pipe and related methods
A multifunctional tool includes first and second handle members, first and second jaw members operatively connected to the first and second handle members and movable between a first open position and a second closed position, and first and second removable collar attachment members configured to be removably installed in the first and second jaw members, respectively, to provide different sizes of compressing and/or cutting diameters when the first and second jaw members are in the second closed position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A SLITTER ASSEMBLY
Systems and methods for slitting a delivery device are described. A slitter assembly for slitting the delivery device in accordance with the present disclosure includes a housing, a lock mechanism coupled to the housing, and a clamshell mechanism coupled to the lock mechanism. The clamshell mechanism defines a channel having an adjustable diameter and sized to receive a device. The slitter assembly also includes a blade configured to slit a tubular shaft of the delivery device.
Pipe splitting apparatus with replaceable blade
Pipe splitting apparatuses and systems including a replaceable blade, and methods therefor, are provided. In various examples, a pipe splitting apparatus includes an outer surface including a recess. A blade including a portion is disposed within the recess. A hardenable material is disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is configured to flow upon application to fill empty space within the recess and at least partially around the portion of the blade disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is further configured to harden after application to secure the portion of the blade within the recess and fix the blade to the pipe splitting apparatus.
Band cutter
A band cutter for removing bands or rings from tubing joints such as those on and associated with plumbing fittings, in particular where the band or ring has been used to secure plastic plumbing pipe or tubing over a fitting. The band cutter includes a main tool body defining an upper portion and a lower portion, a fixed jaw situated on the upper portion of main tool body, a moveable lower jaw independently slideably attachable to the main tool body and situated below the fixed jaw and above the lower portion.
Method for removal of material residues from rolls with a material carrying core
The present invention concerns a method for removal of material residues, particularly tissue or similar porous, non-self-supporting materials, from a material-carrying core, which often has relatively large dimensions, e.g. a diameter of approx. 300 mm and a length of approx. 2540 mm, and thereby allow re-use of the core in the same way as new and unused cores a number of times for winding non-self-supporting or porous material, particularly tissue, wherein a cut section is made in the envelope surface of the roll having the material-carrying core from one end or end portion of the roll to the other end or end portion of the roll by means of a driven rotary knife, which is connected to a motor for rotation of the same.
Rod coating stripper
A stripper for stripping coating off of coated sucker rod is provided. The stripper can have a frame having spaced-apart and opposing end plates with a passageway for receiving the coated rod. Rollers located in the frame guide the coated rod as it passes through the passageway. A cutting bar contacts the coated rod to cut a strip off of the coated rod, leaving a remainder of coating that can be deflected off of the coated rod by a deflector as the coated rod passes through the stripper.
Apparatus for cutting twisted strips
A mechanical cutting device cuts twisted strips of foods such as potatoes. The device comprises twisted cutting tubes, each having a ring secured at a distance from the cutting end. A plurality of such tubes may be arranged in an array, which may be supported by plates having an array of tube-supporting orifices. The cutting tubes are supported for rotation in such manner that, when force is exerted on the tubes to insert the tubes into the food, the tubes rotate as they cut into the food obtaining as result twisted strips of food.
CRAYON CARVING DEVICE
Devices, kits, and methods for making a carved crayon are provided. In one aspect, a crayon carving device includes a base, a pantograph armature coupled to the base, a crayon positioner, and at least one guide template parallel to the crayon positioner. The pantograph armature includes a motorized drive shaft with a drill tip for carving an outside surface of a crayon body, as well as a guide tip for tracing along a guide template that directs where the drill tip carves. In some embodiments, the guide template includes a stationary bridge support and a plurality of removable carving bucks that insert into one of multiple openings on the bridge support. The surface features of each of the carving bucks may be traced by the guide tip to generate a corresponding carving on the surface of a crayon body.
