Method and device for producing a hard-foam film
A method for producing a hard-foam film, for use as a core layer in sandwich composite elements, having an increased compressive strength along a thickness extension extending perpendicularly to its surface extension, from a foam block (3) of a thermoplastic, extruded, in particular partially crystalline and/or closed-cell, plastic rigid foam material, PET.
SPLITTING OF THICK HARD-FOAM PLATES
The present invention relates to a method for cutting rigid foams, especially slabstock P(M)I foams. A method is provided here, by means of which it is possible to cut these rigid foams even in relatively high layer thicknesses of, for example, more than 3 mm, without material loss, which is produced in relevant amounts, for example, in the course of sawing as a result of the sawdust formed.
Chucking apparatus for a workpiece with honeycomb structure
A chucking apparatus for a workpiece with honeycomb structure includes a table that can be supplied with vacuum and a clamping plate which can be placed on the table and which accommodates the workpiece in the region of an already profiled surface determined by the face ends of the honeycombs, whose receiving surface, which corresponds to the profiled surface of the workpiece, is provided with suction openings to the table. In order to provide advantageous chucking conditions, the clamping plate has an open-cell structure.
DEVICE FOR CUTTING VOLUMES OF EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE FOAM OR SIMILAR, PRODUCING DOUBLE-CURVATURE SURFACES
Device for cutting expanded polystyrene foam volumes or the like, obtaining double-curvature surfaces, comprising a first pair of linear guides; over each of the linear guides two pairs of plates arranged over skids are moving, where each pair of plates is connected by a horizontal beam; the two pairs of plates and the pair of horizontal beams allow supporting and fixing a block of material of expanded polystyrene foam or the like for cutting; the block of material supported on the plates is displaced by a first pair of synchronous belts and pulleys, which are driven by a first pair of step motors, which are simultaneously activated; where the block of material in its movement faces a rectangular frame which is arranged perpendicularly to the movement path of the block, with said rectangular frame having a fixed position and a flexible foil, which is covered with a sheath of thermal and electrical insulation, over which a resistive heating wire is helically wound, through which an electrical current circulates that heats the resistive heating wire and vaporizes the zone that is previous to physical contact with the block of material during the displacement thereof.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A BEAM CUTTING PROCESS FOR A WALL PANEL
A beam cutting system ensures horizontal and vertical alignment of a wall panel prior to cutting a standardized edge having a horizontal void along the wall panel. The beam cutting system includes a first harp assembly operable for cutting along a first path and a second harp assembly operable for cutting along a second path, where the first harp assembly and the second harp assembly are parallel with one another and operable for simultaneous but mirrored motion.
WORKING TOOL, WORKING MEMBER OF THE WORKING TOOL, AND WORKING TOOL KIT
A working tool including a tool body with a distal end at which a first engagement structure is disposed and an interchangeable working member including a mounting base and a working portion connected to a distal end of the mounting base. The mounting base includes a second engagement structure disposed at a proximal end of the mounting base and configured to engage with the first engagement structure. The working member is configured to be electrically connected with the tool body upon attachment to the tool body. The working tool is configured to allow the working member to be detached from the tool body and allow another working member with the second engagement structure to be attached to the tool body.
CAKE LEVELER
A portioning device for cutting or leveling a food product includes a blade configured to cut the food product, a first leg section and a second leg section configured to support the portioning device on a surface, and a handle section configured to be manipulated by a user. Each of the first and second leg sections include a leg, a blade holder configured to connect with the blade, and a leg lock operatively mounted to the leg and configured to selectively lock the leg in a position at a selected height of the leg to adjust a distance between the blade and the surface. The blade is a wire. The handle section is foldable about the central portion thereof to place the device in a collapsed configuration.
CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device for cutting a material includes: a frame structure arranged to be pivoted around a pivot axis, wherein the frame structure includes at least two essentially parallelly arranged frame portions arranged at a distance (d) from each other along a first axis (x), wherein a cutting wire is arranged between the frame portions and connected to the respective frame portions, wherein the material is cut and formed by the cutting wire during a pivoting relative movement between the frame structure and the material around a pivot axis (p).
Cake leveler
A portioning device is provided for use in cutting or leveling a food product. The portioning device comprises a handle section that is configured to be manipulated by a user, a leg section and a blade. The handle section includes an arm configured to receive a leg, a sleeve configured to slide over a portion of the arm, and an arm connector pivotally coupled to the arm. The leg section is configured to support the portioning device on a surface. The leg section includes a blade holder configured to hold an end of a blade portion, and a leg lock configured to adjustably lock the leg in a position. The blade is configured to cut an object.
EYE MODEL
An eye model comprises a sclera simulation that comprises a bright plastic material, the plastic material comprising a polyvinyl chloride at least as the main component. The eye model also includes a pattern that contrasts in color with the sclera simulation, the pattern simulating an eye pupil and/or an iris structure. In a method for producing the eye model, a plate-shaped or rectangular blank of the plastic material having two oppositely situated blank flat sides is used, from which an eye body is separated by cutting or chipping machining. The separated eye body has a flattened area that is formed from a first blank flat side, and a convexly curved peripheral surface that surrounds the flattened area in a ring-like manner.
