The invention relates to a coating cutting tool for frozen confection comprising a frame defining a product void for receiving a product at least partly coated, a set of side knives comprising at least two knives mounted on the frame opposite of the product the void, wherein the knives are fixed on the frame. The invention also relates to a method for cutting the coating comprising softening the coating to allow cutting of the coating and holding the product so that sufficient pressure can be exerted during cutting.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A CAPSULE, AND THE RELATED CAPSULE
A method for producing an element of a capsule, the capsule being intended to contain a product having at least one component that can be extracted by means of an extraction fluid, comprises the step of obtaining at least one preparatory zone intended to define, during use of the capsule, a passage for the extraction fluid, so that the extraction fluid can pass through the capsule in order to extract said component. The preparatory zone is obtained by means of a cutting operation carried out before the capsule is filled with the product and after the capsule element has been formed. The cutting operation is carried out by means of a blade element.
SUBSTRATE PROCESSING TOOL
A substrate processing tool is prevented from falling out of a tool holder. This substrate processing tool is a tool for attachment to a substrate processing apparatus. The substrate processing tool includes a tool main body, a blade edge portion, and an engaging portion. A holding portion that is to be held by the chuck portion of the substrate processing apparatus is formed in at least a portion of the tool main body. The blade edge portion is formed on one end side of the tool main body. The engaging portion is formed on the other end side of the tool main body, and protrudes farther than the surface of the tool main body.

Each toothpick shape further includes at least one stepped portion formed by at least one stepped cutting portion of one of the dies. The bottoms of the toothpick shapes are connected to each other. A bottom groove is located between two adjacent toothpick shapes and is formed by a blade of one of the dies. The toothpick shapes is further cut by partial cutting at an end of the toothpick shapes to form a front end of each toothpick shape. The toothpick shapes are cut from the wooden block to obtain a toothpick structure including a plurality of toothpicks.

A method for manufacturing a comb-shaped toothpick structure includes cutting a wooden block by a rotary cutter having a plurality of dies to form a plurality of toothpick shapes arranged in a row. Each toothpick shape includes a top edge formed by a cutter groove between two dies. Each toothpick shape further includes at least one stepped portion formed by at least one stepped cutting portion of one of the dies. The bottoms of the toothpick shapes are connected to each other. A bottom groove is located between two adjacent toothpick shapes and is formed by a blade of one of the dies. The toothpick shapes is further cut by partial cutting at an end of the toothpick shapes to form a front end of each toothpick shape. The toothpick shapes are cut from the wooden block to obtain a toothpick structure including a plurality of toothpicks.

The device for forming the separation starting point includes a stage that supports the processed member, a cutter that faces the stage, a head portion that supports the cutter, an arm portion that supports the head portion, and a moving mechanism that relatively moves the cutter to the stage.

The device for forming the separation starting point includes a stage that supports the processed member, a cutter that faces the stage, a head portion that supports the cutter, an arm portion that supports the head portion, and a moving mechanism that relatively moves the cutter to the stage.
Method and Device for Etching Patterns Inside Objects
Methods and devices for etching patterns on interior surfaces of hollow objects are described. The method may include preparation of the interior surface of the object, such as pre-cleaning, and coating the interior surface of the object. A pattern may then be generated on the interior surface of the object by any of mechanical or manual scribing and peeling, laser ablation, or photoresist coating and laser exposure, development and hardening. The pattern is then etched using chemical etchants, and finished to remove remaining coating, provide surface passivation and/or protectant application. Mechanical and laser devices which may facilitate pattern generation are also described.
