The fixed cutter is fixedly disposed inside the base, the movable cutter base is optionally positionably moves between protruding and retreating positions axially, the movable cutter base has a movable cutter, when the movable cutter is in the protruding position, a blade of the movable cutter is near a blade of the fixed cutter, and when the movable cutter base is in the retreating position, the blade of the movable cutter is remote from the blade of the fixed cutter. The carrying face faces the blade of the fixed cutter and is able to approach the blade of the fixed cutter.
Spring Activated Tablet Cutter
This invention is a tablet cutter that uses coiled spring action to ultimately hold the pill in place while being split. The tablet cutter includes a base, a cover pivotally secured to the base, a cutting blade attached to the cover and a tablet spring unit. The tablet spring unit has a coiled spring that presses against a plastic rod with a face-plate attached at the end which is moveable relative to the base and holds the tablet. The tablet spring unit allows a pill to be split when the cover is moved to a closed position.

CD/DVD GUILLOTINE DESTRUCTION DEVICE
A guillotine style destruction device for severing one or more data carrying disks including a body having an extending passageway defined therein and a disk containing cartridge or support incorporated or positioned within the body and for supporting the disks in intersecting fashion relative to an interior passageway. A handle supports a blade, and is guidably supported relative to the body for displacing the blade within said passageway for incising the disks. The body includes a disk supporting tray at an upper end and, optionally, an incised disk removal tray, drawer or collection receptacle at a bottom end. The blade can be incorporated into either of a pivoting or vertically descending handle and, upon inserting one or more CD's or disks associated with the upper tray, incises the disk to assist traveling into the lower deposit and removal area.
