The system utilizes a pair of connected harmonic drives to allow the clocking or registration of the rotary drive shaft without backlash and without requiring gearing changes as a result of a single harmonic drive. ROOF CUTTER
A roof cutter and a method of cutting a roof is provided. The roof cutter includes a basethat is movable between a retracted configuration and a cutting configuration. In the retracted configuration, the blade is displaced from the roof. In the cutting configuration, the blade is positioned so as to facilitate cutting of the roof. The roof cutter includes a stop assembly and an engagement member that is configured to engage with the stop assembly when the base is in the cutting configuration, thereby establishing a maximum cutting depth. A dampening mechanism softens impacts associated with the blade moving to the cutting depth and absorbs vibrations associated with cutting the roof at the cutting depth. An adjustment assembly is configured to selectively adjust the cutting depth and/or to selectively restrain the base in the retracted configuration, thereby preventing the blade from cutting the roof.
ROOF CUTTER
A roof cutter and a method of cutting a roof is provided. The roof cutter includes a basethat is movable between a retracted configuration and a cutting configuration. Method and apparatus for installing geothermal heat exchanger
A borehole is bored to a borehole target depth in a site and a geothermal heat exchanger is inserted into and then secured in the borehole at the desired depth. Once the heat exchanger has been secured in the borehole, the heat exchanger has a closed distal end and an open proximal end and has at least one fluid path between the closed distal end and the open proximal end, with installation fluid disposed in the fluid path(s). After securing the heat exchanger in the borehole and before excavation of a portion of the site immediately surrounding the borehole, the heat exchanger is temporarily sealed by installing, through the open proximal end, at least one respective internal seal in each fluid path. For each fluid path, the internal seal(s) will be disposed below a respective notional subgrade depth and excavation of the site immediately surrounding the borehole can proceed.
Adjustable thickness sheeting device for a food processing device
A food processing attachment for a food processing device includes a rotational adapter configured to be selectively coupled with a drive system of the food processing device. A food holder is coupled to the rotational adapter and having a base, wherein the food holder is selectively rotated by the rotational adapter. A central spear extends perpendicularly from a center of the base. A plurality of radial flanges extend perpendicularly from the base, wherein each radial flange of the plurality of flanges is discontinuous with the other radial flanges, wherein the central spear and the plurality of radial flanges are adapted to secure a food item in a processing space and in communication with the rotational adapter. A blade is coupled to an operable carriage and is adapted to selectively engage the food item within the processing space to remove at least a portion of the food item.
Adjustable thickness sheeting device for a food processing device
A food processing attachment for a food processing device includes a rotational adapter configured to be selectively coupled with a drive system of the food processing device. A food holder is coupled to the rotational adapter and having a base, wherein the food holder is selectively rotated by the rotational adapter. A central spear extends perpendicularly from a center of the base. A plurality of radial flanges extend perpendicularly from the base, wherein each radial flange of the plurality of flanges is discontinuous with the other radial flanges, wherein the central spear and the plurality of radial flanges are adapted to secure a food item in a processing space and in communication with the rotational adapter. A blade is coupled to an operable carriage and is adapted to selectively engage the food item within the processing space to remove at least a portion of the food item.
Groove engraving device and groove engraving method
A groove engraving device and a groove engraving method are provided. The groove engraving device includes: a processing chamber for containing a piece to be processed, a cutter for groove engraving on the piece to be processed, a clamping mechanism for clamping the piece to be processed, a driving mechanism for driving the clamping mechanism to rotate, and a temperature controlling device for controlling a temperature inside the processing chamber to be within a preset temperature range. The clamping mechanism and the cutter are disposed inside the processing chamber, and the clamping mechanism is rotatable with respect to the processing chamber. The temperature controlling device is disposed inside the processing chamber. The groove engraving device can improve the processing efficiency and quality of the groove engraving on the piece to be processed.
CUTTING MACHINE WITH BLADE DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
A cutting machine has a cutting support for material to be cut, with a vertically movable blade bar which bears a blade for cutting the cut material located thereon. A cutting drive is for vertically moving the blade bar. A blade depth adjustment is for vertically adjusting the blade bar relative to a vertically movable drive element of the cutting drive. The blade depth adjustment includes a deflection lever which is pivotably mounted about a horizontal axis on the blade bar. The drive element can be articulated thereon at a first radial distance to the horizontal axis. An adjusting mechanism may act on the deflection lever at a second radial distance to the horizontal axis, for rotating and fixing the deflection lever.
CUTTING MACHINE WITH BLADE DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
A cutting machine has a cutting support for material to be cut, with a vertically movable blade bar which bears a blade for cutting the cut material located thereon. A cutting drive is for vertically moving the blade bar. A blade depth adjustment is for vertically adjusting the blade bar relative to a vertically movable drive element of the cutting drive. The blade depth adjustment includes a deflection lever which is pivotably mounted about a horizontal axis on the blade bar. The drive element can be articulated thereon at a first radial distance to the horizontal axis. An adjusting mechanism may act on the deflection lever at a second radial distance to the horizontal axis, for rotating and fixing the deflection lever.
