SLICING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR SLICING ELASTIC STRANDS IN PARTICULAR MEAT STRANDS
A slicing machine for slicing meat strands that have a cross section that varies over a longitudinal extension in large numbers and as quickly as possible into weight precise slices. In one embodiment, two meat strands are received adjacent to each other in a respective form tube and pushed against a respective separately adjustable stop plate independently from each other by a controlled longitudinal press plunger and compressed in the longitudinal direction. In addition, a cross section of the form tubes may be reduced in a first transversal direction jointly and in a second transversal direction independently from each other and thus the respective meat strand is transversally compressed to a constant cross section prior to slicing.
Device for cutting extruded plastic profiles to length
A device for cutting a preferably thick-walled, extended pipe to length, has at least one cutting tool and a receiving unit for the cutting tool. The cutting tool is radially movable in relation to the extrusion axis and is rotatable via further means about the pipe to be cut to length, in order to cut the pipe to length. The receiving unit may be connected by means of a receiving disc to a sleeve via a ring element, wherein linear guiding elements are arranged on said sleeve parallel to the extrusion axis, and wherein at least four linear guiding elements are evenly distributed around the circumference of the sleeve.
METHODS AND MACHINES FOR PRODUCING TUBES BY WINDING STRIP MATERIAL AROUND A FORMING MANDREL
A machine is shown having a winding unit (3) and a cutting unit (7) to cut a tube (T) being formed around a mandrel (5). The cutting unit (7) has a rotating cutting blade (9) provided with motion along a circular trajectory, defined by means of a system of cross guides and a fastening to a center of a circular trajectory. The position of the center (33B) of the circular trajectory of the rotating cutting blade (9) is changed according to the direction of movement of the blade with respect to the mandrel, so that the rotating cutting blade (9) cuts the tube (T) during a forward movement and is released form the tube during a backward movement. Methods for production of tubes by means of helical winding of one or more strips of web material around a mandrel are shown as well.

Freeze Pop Package Clipper and A Method to Open Freeze Pop Packaging
A hand-held cutting device configured to safely, easily, and reliably remove the plastic tip of the plastic packaging of a Freeze Pop is disclosed. The device includes a housing with a slot into which the tip of the unopened Freeze Pop is inserted. Inside the slot is an internal cutting mechanism which produces a curved cut to remove the tip of the Freeze Pop. The tip then falls into a collection chamber which may be opened for easy disposal of plastic scraps. The entire device is storable on a magnetic surface via a removable magnetic component.
Method and tool unit for setting a punching gap
A tool unit (II) includes an ability to change the width (B) of a punching gap between a first tool (12) and a second tool (13). A plurality of second tools (13) jointly form a die tool with a circumferential die cutting edge in which the first tool (12) can engage with a cutting edge (22). Between the cutting edge (22) of the first tool and the respective cutting edge (21) of a second tool (12) a punching gap (23) is formed with a width (B) measured between the cutting edges (21, 22) across the working direction (A). Via lamping means (33), the deformation force acting on a second tool (13) can act transversely to the working direction (A), whereby the position of the affected cutting edge (21) and, with it, the width (B) of the punching gap (23), can be changed and set.
Emergency stop cutting mechanism for a web rewinding device
This invention provides web-cutting mechanism that can be mounted in line at an appropriate location between the web-handling peripheral (printer) and a web roll. The cutting mechanism operates before the available storage in the winder festoon has been exhausted, and decouples the roll's energy from the web. The cutting mechanism can employ a blade that is drawn through the web solely by the movement of the web itself. The blade is mounted at a (e.g.) 45-degree angle to web travel, causing it to be pulled through the web. A negator spring assembly and associated cable drives the blade into the side edge of the web when a slide-mounted blade shuttle assembly is released by a latching pawl of a solenoid assembly. The solenoid is triggered by a signal indicating an emergency stop condition, such as an upstream jam.
Die punch assembly
A die punch assembly includes a punch lid, a cutting die, a punch base, and an alignment stand. The punch lid includes a transparent lid window. The cutting die is coupled to the punch lid and includes a female portion and a male portion. The female portion includes a die base having an upper elevation, a die head, a die opening extending through the die base and die head, and a passage with at least two open sides between the die base and die head. The male portion is configured to slide through the die opening to cut material positioned within the passage. The punch base is coupled to the cutting die and includes a base opening aligned with the die opening. The alignment stand includes a top surface that is substantially planar with the upper elevation of the die base of the female portion of the cutting die.
CUTTING DEVICE
The invention concerns a cutting device (1) for reducing the width of a ready-made roller blind blank (28) comprising a roller tube onto which a fabric has been wound. The cutting device (1) comprises a mandrel (13), which is adapted to be inserted into and hold an end to be cut of the roller tube, and a knife arrangement, which is adapted to circumferentially cut first the fabric wound on the roller tube and then the roller tube on the mandrel (13) such that the width of the ready-made roller blind blank (28) is reduced. The invention also concerns a ready-made roller blind blank (28), which comprises a roller tube, onto which a fabric has been wound and which is adapted to be cut by means of a cutting device (1) according to the invention. For this the roller blind blank (28) comprises a disposable wrapping, which bears a visible measurement scale along at least one end portion of the roller blind blank (28).
