Device for rupturing attachment zones on folding boxes and production unit comprising such a rupture device
This severing device (1) includes an upper pressing member (2), a pile support part (4) having a plurality of conveying members (10) for conveying the pile in a conveying direction (X), a lower pressing member (6) arranged under the conveying members (10). The conveying members (10) are juxtaposed in a transverse direction. Two juxtaposed conveying members can be parted. The lower pressing member (6) has: i) two adjacent lower plates (6.1, 6.2) that can be moved apart, and ii) a lower translation actuator (6.3) for moving the lower plates (6.1, 6.2) so as to cause the severance slot (2.0) between juxtaposed conveying members to coincide with a frangible line in the plate.
CUTTING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR SLICING A LOAF INTO SLICES
A cutting machine for slicing a loaf into slices includes a forming tube channel extending in an axial direction, with an open longitudinal side and a channel cavity. A plurality of cross press stamps of different widths can each be inserted into the open longitudinal side of the forming tube channel for forming a forming tube having a rear end and a cutting end. The cutting machine further includes a cutting device with a blade arranged in front of the cutting end of the forming tube, and the blade is displaceable in a transverse direction relative to the forming tube. A width of the channel cavity of the forming tube channel is variable, and a cross press drive is provided for displacing a cross press stamp of the plurality of cross press stamps into the open longitudinal side of the forming tube channel in a first transverse direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BIAXIAL SYMMETRIC CANTED HOLES
Systems and methods according to one or more embodiments are provided for forming canted holes in materials. In one example, a forming angle and a central axis for a vent through a panel is determined. A vent is formed in the panel about the central axis along the forming angle. The angled vent is formed with a circular shape at a first opening of the vent on a first surface of the panel when viewed at an angle perpendicular to the first surface of the panel. Additional systems and methods are also provided.
PRODUCT SLICER
A product slicer having an adjustable gauge plate precisely positioned by the unique cooperation of a cam plate and a cam follower.
MACHINES AND METHODS FOR CUTTING PRODUCTS TO PRODUCE REDUCED-SIZE PRODUCTS THEREFROM
Machines and methods suitable for performing cutting operations on products to yield a reduced-size product, for example, slicing and strip-cutting elongate food products. Such a method includes simultaneously delivering products to annular-shaped cavities of a rotating impeller. The products are simultaneously delivered with a feed unit that has a feed chute extension that protrudes into an interior of the impeller. The feed chute extension defines feed chutes that are aligned with the annular-shaped cavities of the impeller and direct the products to circumferential series of pockets within the annular-shaped cavities. The products are held within the pockets by centrifugal force as the products are carried past a slicing knife to form a first longitudinal cut through each of the products during a rotation of the impeller and to produce therefrom a substantially longitudinally sliced product.
PRODUCT SLICER
A product slicer having an adjustable gauge plate precisely positioned by the unique cooperation of a cam plate and a cam follower.
Systems and methods for measuring and adjusting gate openings of slicing machines
Instruments and methods for measuring and adjusting gate openings of a slicing machine utilizing a gauge system that includes a frame, a device for securing the frame to the interior surface of a cutting head, a device for locating the frame relative to a knife and/or a gate of the cutting head that define the gate opening therebetween, and a device mounted to the frame for measuring the gate opening. The measuring device includes an anvil biased in an outward direction relative to the frame, an indicator mounted to the anvil and biased therewith in the outward direction relative to the frame, and a probe of the indicator biased in the outward direction relative to the indicator. The probe and anvil provide a outward measurement of the gate opening based on a differential measurement of surfaces of the knife and gate.
Cut sheet length control in a corrugator dry end
Tension spikes in a running web slit to direct output webs to respective upper and lower cutoff knives are minimized by anticipating the increased tension in the web when the lead edge enters an outfeed nip and offsetting the tension spike with a decrease in the force imposed by the infeed pull roll nip, whereby the sum of the web tensions is substantially uniform through the cutting cycle and the sheets are cut to a consistent length.
Food slicing apparatus
A slicing apparatus and methods of using a slicing apparatus are provided. The apparatus can include a base configured to rest on a horizontal surface, a vertically extending cutting area generally perpendicular to the horizontal surface, and a food carriage for laterally moving and rotating a food item engaged with the food carriage. The cutting area can include blades angled relative to each other, and a multi-blade tool that allows adjustment and selection of different blades.
