Control of a Cutting Tool
An example system includes a cutting tool and a device configured to remotely control the cutting tool. In response to receiving information indicative of actuation of a first user interface item, the device sends a first signal to the cutting tool so as to request enabling the cutting tool to be operated remotely. The cutting tool sends a second signal to the device indicating that remote operation of the cutting tool has been enabled. The cutting tool receives information indicating that the trigger has been activated, and sends a third signal to the device indicating that the cutting tool is ready to perform a cutting operation. The device receives information indicative of actuation of a second user interface item, and responsively, sends a fourth signal to the cutting tool so as to cause the cutting tool to perform the cutting operation.

TABLE SAW
A table saw including a table, an opening in the table through which a saw blade extends, and a throat plate receivable within the opening. The throat plate includes a top surface that is co-planar with a top surface of the table. The table saw further includes an anti-kickback pawl disposed above the throat plate and a wear plate coupled to the throat plate in facing relationship with the anti-kickback pawl, where at least a portion of the wear plate is sub-flush with the top surface of the throat plate.

Conduit cutting assembly
A conduit cutting assembly is comprised of a conduit cutting surface, a drive shaft, a top shield and a bottom guide. The conduit cutting assembly is inserted into a rotary device which provides a torque to rotate the conduit cutting assembly. The shield glides along the top surface of the conduit preventing deeper penetration of the cutting surface and deflecting dust as conduit is cut. The guide is positioned on the internal side of the conduit and prevents the cutting surface from contacting encased wiring. The distance between the bottom surface of the shield and the top surface of the guide is closely aligned to the conduit wall thickness. Conduit cutting assemblies can be customized for conduit material and conduit wall thickness. The conduit cutting assembly safely cuts through conduit without damaging encased wiring, limits incidental contact with the cutting surface, and limits contact with dust generated through the cutting procedure.

Produce slicer
Produce slicers for slicing produce include a frame. A blade assembly is removably and interchangeably received within the frame. A pusher head is removably and interchangeably received within the frame. The produce slicer includes a cover, at least one target ring in the cover defines a first target area. The blade assembly includes at least one blade set with a first frame bar and a second frame bar and a plurality of blades extend therebetween. The pusher head includes a pusher head body and at least one produce pusher with a plurality of fins extending in a direction away from the pusher head body.
Machine to produce twisted paper for loose fill packaging
A machine produces twisted paper for loose file packaging. The machine includes at least one auger to reduce a dimension, such as diameter, of paper as it is pulled from a roll. The material moves past the auger into a twisting assembly wherein the paper is twisted or rotated about a longitudinal axis of the machine inside a pipe or tube. The pipe or tube includes a cutout or interruption in the sidewall within which a wheel resides. The wheel grasps and advances the paper through the twisting assembly as it rotates. As the paper leaves the twisting assembly it is pulled or otherwise fed through an exist region and is cut into segments of small twisted pieces of paper. The twisted segments of paper are of suitable size for use as loose fill packaging.
Blade Guard for Saw of Saw House and Method
A blade guard assembly for a circular saw blade of a saw house includes a blade cover with a face panel and an edge portion that extends from the face panel. An actuator is mountable the blade cover and the structure of the saw house. When the blade guard assembly is mounted in saw house, the blade cover is movable with the actuator between a covered position and an exposed position. In the covered position, the face panel and edge portion at least partially surround the saw blade. In the exposed position, the face panel is spaced from the saw blade.
Cutting device, in particular for cutting webs
A cutting device (1), in particular for rapidly cutting webs, including: a support structure (2) including a fixed blade (3), a carriage (4) movable along a movement direction (X), a mobile blade (5) mounted on the carriage (4), a guide (7), associated to the support structure (2), on which the carriage (4) is slidable along the movement direction (X); a sliding sleeve (11), interposed between the carriage (4) and the guide (7) concentrically to the guide (7); seals (8, 10) interposed between the guide (7) and the carriage (4) so as to define a chamber (9), concentric to the guide (7) and containing the sleeve (11); motor (6) configured to move the carriage (4) according to an alternating movement along the movement direction (X) between a non-operating position and an operating position, in which the mobile blade (5) partially superposes the fixed blade (3) so as to carry out the cutting of a web; supply (15) for supplying air to the chamber (9) so as to maintain it at a greater pressure with respect to the surrounding environment.
