Catheter and process for manufacturing a catheter
The present invention relates to a catheter and a process for manufacturing a radially extending opening in tubing for a catheter. The tubing having at least one lumen being enclosed by at least one tubing wall and the process comprises placing tubing in a fixture, applying force to the tubing and thereby fixing the tubing in the fixture in a position for making an opening, pressing a heated depression tool against the surface of the tubing creating a depression area in the at least one tubing wall, and punching an opening cutting tool through the at least one tubing wall within the depression area creating an opening in the depression area of the at least one tubing wall, the opening extending from the exterior of the tubing to the lumen of the tubing.
System, apparatus, and method for pipe transportation
Systems, methods, and devices for perforating louver perforations into a pipe are contemplated. Systems, methods, and devices for transporting pipes for perforation are contemplated. Systems, methods, and devices for performing quality control inspections of such perforations contemplated. A pipe may be oriented vertically and raised over a device that punches perforations into the pipe from the inside of the pipe toward the outside of the pipe. Various supports may contact the pipe for stabilization and to facilitate the formation of perforations without removing cut away pieces from the pipe. Electronic monitoring of the features of the pipe facilitate quality control inspection during processing. In this manner, a structurally robust pipe having a series of louver perforations along the pipe may be formed.
Method and device for disposing of a slug produced in a hole punching operation on a hollow profile
A method for disposing of a slug produced in a hole punching operation on a hollow profile is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a hollow profile; cutting at least one predeterminable hole or slug contour path into the hollow profile by means of a cutting device; leaving a residual web of the hole or slug contour path; moving a receiving device into the hollow profile; moving a punch from a first position into a residual-web-removing second position in such a way that the slug thereby produced is received by the receiving device; and moving the receiving device out of the hollow profile.
SIDE-TO-SIDE ANASTOMOSIS SYSTEM AND PUNCH TOOL FOR SAME
A method of making a side-to-side anastomosis includes making first and second holes through a first vessel, and second vessel, respectively, by receiving a jaw of a punch tool into exposed ends of the respective vessels, and then moving a punch tool toward the jaw and through the wall of the vessel. The vessels are joined with an elongate eyelet with a passage that matches a shape of the oval first and second holes. The long axes of the oval holes are oriented parallel to a longitudinal axes of the respective vessels.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING A PIPE T-BRANCH
The object of the invention is a method and a device for making a pipe T-branch by connecting the shaped end of a branch pipe with internal welding to the edges of a hole in a main pipe. The hole in the main pipe (T) and the arcs corresponding to the main pipe at the end of the branch pipe (P) are cut mechanically by removing one solid part from the hole and two (22) solid parts from the end of the branch pipe in a dry mechanical process, wherein the cleanliness of the joint areas remains suitable for welding. The shaped end of the branch pipe (P) is placed around the hole in the main pipe and the joint seam (21) between the pipes is welded by internal welding without the use of a welding filler. A suitable branching hole is made by punching tangentially from the side of the main pipe such that the tangent of the pipe, which is parallel to the direction of movement of the punch tool, is located inside the punch tool (1).

Irrigation insertion tool and method
An irrigation insertion tool is disclosed for inserting an irrigation emitter into an irrigation tubing. The irrigation insertion tool comprises a primary lever including a primary fulcrum base coupling a primary handle and a primary jaw. A secondary lever includes a secondary fulcrum base coupling a secondary handle and a secondary jaw. A couple joins the primary fulcrum base and the secondary fulcrum base for defining a fulcrum. A tubing channel is in the primary jaw for receiving the irrigation tubing. An emitter socket is in the secondary jaw for receiving the irrigation emitter. The primary handle and the secondary handle converge for generating a mechanical advantage between the primary jaw and the secondary primary jaw. The primary jaw and the secondary jaw compress the irrigation tubing with the irrigation emitter and pierce the barb tube through the irrigation tubing.
Punch tool
An improved punch tool and a method for relocating a section of pipeline using the improved tool are presented. The improvement includes an interior channel running through the center of the shaft of the punch tool and a connector that is attached to one end of the shaft and to a pressure gauge and pressure bleed valve, thereby allowing the operator to use the same tool to cut, gauge, and purge the section of pipeline to be abandoned.
Fittings For Pipes, And Presses For Installing The Fittings To Pipes
A fitting for a pipe generally includes a saddle for coupling the fitting to the pipe and a tap for establishing fluid communication between the fitting and the pipe. The saddle defines a channel extending generally longitudinally through the saddle, and the channel is free of threads. And, the tap is configured to fit within the channel of the saddle for establishing the fluid communication between the fitting and the pipe.

The saddle defines a channel extending generally longitudinally through the saddle, and the channel is free of threads. And, the tap is configured to couple to the saddle within the channel of the saddle. A press for installing the fitting to the pipe generally includes a housing configured to releasably couple to the fitting, and a spike configured to releasably couple to the housing and extend at least partly through the fitting for piercing the pipe to thereby allow at least part of the fitting to be inserted into the pipe through the piercing in the pipe to thereby establishing fluid communication between the fitting and the pipe.
