ROBOTIC WORKING LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CUTTING BODIES, CUTTING BODY AND RELATED WORKING METHOD
The invention relates to a robotic working line for the production of cutting bodies for prosthetic surgery instruments, in particular cutting bodies able to milling/cutting or otherwise carrying out tissue removal processes in preparation for, or in the context of, prosthetic surgery interventions, in this case in the orthopaedic field, such as acetabular cutters, patellar cutters, glenoid cutters, rasps, broaches or similar tools, starting from hollow untreated components having at least one external surface and one opposing internal surface. The invention also relates to a working method for the production of cutting bodies for prosthetic surgery instruments and to a cutting body made by means of a robotic working line and in accordance with the method according to the invention.
Trepanning tool with plug management
A trepanning apparatus, including a shaft portion extending along a longitudinal axis; an annular cutter portion; and a connecting portion extending axially between the shaft portion and the cutter portion, the connecting portion including a pair of arms each having a front end connected to the cutter portion and a rear end connected to the shaft portion, the arms circumferentially spaced from one another about the longitudinal axis to provide diametrically opposed first and second openings, a first plug retaining surface defined by a first portion of the rearward end of the cutter portion having a first circumferential extent bounded by the front ends of the arms, and a second plug retaining surface defined by a second portion of the rearward end of the cutter portion having a second circumferential extent bounded by the front ends of the arms, the first circumferential extent greater than the second circumferential extent.
Controlled fracture machining method for producing through-holes
A method and apparatus for producing a hole in any material by means of controlled fracturing using non-spindle CNC machining includes the steps of: fixturing a workpiece to the table of a non-spindle CNC holemaking machine tool. The cutting tool is then secured to the column of the machine tool and the face of the cutting tool is positioned perpendicular to the centerline of the proposed hole. The surface of the workpiece is approached with the cutting tool to a predetermined clearance level. Thereafter, the cutting tool is driven with sufficient linear force to induce instantaneous strain in the material of the workpiece to a depth necessary to create a hole of a desired size and shape using a drive mechanism. The cutting tool is then repositioned so that the face of cutting tool is perpendicular to centerline of a subsequent hole to be produced.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CUTTING POROUS SUBSTRATES
Apparatuses and methods for cutting a sample piece, having a shape and an outer dimension, out of a porous substrate, comprising: a puncher having an outermost dimension at a punch head; a stripping sleeve; a die having an innermost dimension that is larger than the outermost dimension of the punch head; and a fixture that holds the die in a fixed position relative to the puncher and stripping sleeve.

MACHINE
A machine for producing two or more drill holes in a surface of a panel. The machine includes a feeding device for feeding the panel in a feeding direction and a drilling device including two or more drilling units. The drilling units are displaceable relative the surface in a drilling direction which is at an acute angle relative the surface of the panel.

APPARATUS FOR FEEDING BAG
A film roll on which a tube film is wound is supported by a lower shelf of a frame. The tube film is fed from a reel mechanism. A table for guiding the fed tube film is provided in the upper part of the apparatus. The tube film held by a clip mechanism on the table is drawn to the front end of the table, and the drawn tube film is cut into a predetermined length while being pressed by a press cutter. The clip mechanism is provided with a clip including a pair of fingers for holding the tube film. The clip mechanism is provided on a slide mechanism for reciprocating the clip.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CONTROLLING METHOD OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROLLING METHOD OF INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In case of simultaneously performing a punching process and a finishing process other than the punching process in an image forming apparatus, in order to prevent an unnecessary (ineffectual) finishing process from being performed, an information processing controller unit of a multifunction peripheral performs control of permitting to set in combination a double-punching center setting and a bookbinding setting, and of prohibiting to set in combination a punch setting, other than the double-punching center setting, and the bookbinding setting.
PRINT SYSTEM, PRINT APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A print system includes a print apparatus connected to a puncher and an information processing apparatus that communicates with the print apparatus. The print apparatus includes a first transmission unit, a printing unit that prints an image on a sheet, and a control unit that controls the puncher to form punch holes in the sheet. The first transmission unit transmits information indicating a position where the puncher is configured to form the punch holes. The information processing apparatus includes a first reception unit that receives the transmitted information, an acceptance unit that accepts a setting that is based on the received information, and a second transmission unit that transmits the accepted setting to the print apparatus. The control unit of the print apparatus controls the puncher to form the punch holes according to the setting transmitted by the information processing apparatus and received by the print apparatus.
