The bundle of sheets includes at least a first sheet having a first edge and a second sheet having a second edge, and the sheet is any one of the first sheet and the second sheet. The plurality of tools removably is disposed in a tool housing. Each tool of the plurality of tools corresponds to at least an operation of a plurality of operations, and each tool of the plurality of tools is arranged to perform the operation on the sheet. The processor configured to position the sheet and to selectively actuate at least one tool of the plurality of tools to cause performance of at least one operation at a first location on the first sheet and at a second location on the second sheet, and wherein the first location and second location are determined by the processor based on a first input to obliquely aligned the first edge and the second edge upon aligning the first location and second location.
MACHINE FOR CUTTING POUCHES WITH SHAPED PERIMETER EDGE, AND METHOD
Apparatus and method for separating product containing pouches from a travelling web of adhered films carried on a film support surface includes a rotary blade drum assembly having blade configurations with blade portions arranged to form the entire perimeter edge of the flange of the pouch which rotate in synchronous registration with grooves in the film support surface. In one form, at least one blade portion and associated groove portion are non-linear and other than longitudinal or transverse to the film support surface of the forming drum or travelling web of films. The blade portions may be heated and the rotary blade drum assembly may include insulating guides for the pouches.
Die cutting station for a packaging line
A packaging line station having a frame, a die assembly, a drive motor, and an anvil roller. The frame has a base with two vertical stanchions extending upwardly from sides thereof and a top cross-member affixed across the stanchions. The die assembly includes a yoke affixed to the cross-member, a die wheel rotatably affixed to side arms of the yoke, a drive shaft affixed to the die wheel and a cutting die affixed to the die wheel. The drive motor is connected to the drive shaft. The drive shaft and the anvil roller extend between the stanchions. The cutting die and the anvil roller and spaced apart by a nip for receiving a traveling web. As the web passes through the nip the web is cut by blades of the rotating die to form a slit. An adhesive resealable tape or label is then applied over the slit.
Cut data generating device, method of generating cut data, and non-transitory computer readable storing medium
A cut data generating device includes a control device which causes the generating device to acquire data indicating a pattern, to extract outlines of plural subpatterns contained in a design, to determine the number of layers associated with the number of sheets with respect to the extracted outlines, and to determine a sequence for stacking plural layers. The control device further causes the generating device to generate an integrated outline obtained by integrating the outline of first and second subpatterns contained in the extracted outlines, to specify the outline of the first subpattern on a first layer, to generate cut data for cutting the outline of the first subpattern from a first sheet associated with the first layer and for cutting the integrated outline from a second sheet associated with the second layer, and to output the generated cut data via the communication unit to the cutting apparatus.
Rotary Anvil
The rotary anvils herein may be used in combination with a tool member to perform various types of manufacturing operations, such as cutting, bonding, and embossing. The anvil roll may include a cylindrically-shaped outer circumferential surface and may be adapted to rotate about a first axis of rotation. More particularly, the anvil roll may include a body formed from a first material, such as a metallic material. The body may also include grooves in the outer circumferential surface, and abrasion resistant material may be fused to the body to fill the grooves to form strips. During operation, a tool member may be positioned to contact the strips of abrasion resistant material.
Glass cutting line with automatic remnant storage and retrieval including cutting table with integrated squaring stop and Y-break breaking bar facilitating sub-plate cutting
A glass cutting line includes automatic remnant storage and retrieval including cutting table with integrated squaring stop and y-break breaking bar facilitating sub-plate cutting. The cutting table is configured for sub-plate cutting mode which provides the ability to cut portions of a stock sheet and release the cut portion in the form of a remnant and or individual workpieces to breakout before the entire sheet is finished scoring without the sub-plate leaving the cutting table.
Template Kit for Drilling Holes and Mounting Objects
A template kit for assisting with the drilling of holes and the mounting of objects to a planar surface. The template kit includes an impactor, a plurality of punch heads removably securable to the impactor, and a sheet of material having a first side and a second side. The first side includes a first adhesive that can releasably secure the object to be mounted. The second side includes a second adhesive that can secure the device to a wall or other planar surface. The second adhesive has increased adhesive strength relative to the first adhesive. Each punch head includes an inner and outer edge that can cut a disc member from the sheet of material, wherein the impactor drives the punch head through the sheet of material. In use, the disc members are secured to a wall and serve as a guide for drilling a hole to hang the object.
Cutting apparatus and cutting control program therefor
A cutting apparatus includes a holding member disposed at a position opposed to a cutting blade and having an adhesive layer removably holding an object, a pressing unit pressing the object held by the holding member and having a contact portion brought into contact with the object, a region specifying unit specifying a region where an adhesive retention of the adhesive layer is insufficient along a cutting line of the object cut by the blade, and a control unit controlling the pressing unit so that when the object is cut by moving the blade and the holding member holding the object relative to each other, at least either an amount of pressing or a pressing force of the contact portion is changed between a case where the region specified by the region specifying unit is cut and a case where any part other than the specified region is cut.
