Suction base unit and receptacle
A food receptacle (12), such as a child's food bowl, which can be secured to a flat surface by a suction base unit (10) is described. The suction base unit (10) is of low-profile and is adapted to be attached to a flat surface by a vacuum formed between a suction pad (14) in the suction base unit (10) and the flat surface. The food bowl (12) has a base (16) with a rim (18) adapted to rest on the flat surface to support the bowl (12) on the surface. The base (16) has a recess (20) adapted to receive the suction base unit (10) therein. Because the suction base unit (10) is of low profile it can be wholly contained within the base (16) of the bowl. A securing mechanism (22) is provided for releasably securing the suction base unit (10) within the base (16) of the food receptacle (12). In use, when the suction base unit (10) is attached to a flat surface and the receptacle (12) is secured thereto the rim (18) of the receptacle base (16) presses against the flat surface and supports the receptacle thereon.

Anchored beverage container assembly
An anchored beverage container assembly includes a canister that has a top end which is open to insertably receive a beverage container. A stem slot extends through the canister to accommodate a stem of a wine glass and the canister has a base slot extending through the canister to accommodate a base of the wine glass. The canister has a locking slot extending into the canister. A first anchor is insertable into the locking slot and a spike extends downwardly from the first anchor to penetrate a support surface for securing the canister to the support surface. A second anchor is insertable into the locking slot and a suction sup extends downwardly from the second anchor for securing the canister to a support surface. A third anchor is insertable into the locking slot and a buoyant float extends downwardly from the third anchor to float in a body of water.

CUPHOLDER ASSEMBLIES
Selectively engageable and interlocking cupholder assemblies are shown and disclosed. In some embodiments, the cupholder assembly includes a main member having opposed first and second end portions, and a bottom member pivotably attached to the first end portion of the main member. The bottom member includes a container receiver to receive a beverage container. The cupholder assembly additionally includes a top member pivotably attached to the second end portion of the main member. The top member includes an opening to receive the beverage container. The cupholder assembly further includes an over-centering mechanism that urges the bottom and top members toward an open position when the bottom and top members are between the open position and an over-center position, and that urges the bottom and top members toward a closed position when the bottom and top members are between the closed position and the over-center position.
