Electric concrete saw
A self-propelled electric concrete saw having at least two electric motors. A first electric motor of the concrete saw is powered by an external power supply and can power both a saw blade and a drive system. A second electric motor of the concrete saw is powered by a rechargeable battery and can power the drive system. The concrete saw can be maneuvered by using the second electric motor with or without the concrete saw being connected to the external power supply.

Method of using a device to ventilate a burning building
A device for ventilating a burning building that includes, a chassis; and a cutting assembly, mounted on the chassis. The cutting assembly is adapted to cut a ventilation hole in a roof or wall member of a building either autonomously or under remote control by an operator to allow smoke and/or hot gases to escape from the roof space.

Tree trimming apparatus and method
An apparatus and method for removing the tops of trees, the apparatus including a rotatable first boom configured for coupling to and extending vertically downward from an aircraft and a cutting assembly hingedly coupled to a bottom end portion of the first boom. The cutting assembly includes a housing containing a motor, the housing having an upper portion coupled to the bottom end portion of the first boom. A second boom extends from a lower portion of the housing and supports thereon a singular circular saw which is operatively coupled to the motor. The second boom is arranged at an angle of about 30 to about 55 relative to the first boom. This accomplished by including bend within the housing.
Wet cutting saw
A wet cutting saw for cutting a ground portion, the wet cutting saw including a blade rotatable about an axis, a liquid feed conduit for feeding liquid onto a surface of the blade as it rotates, a frame for carrying the blade and configured to travel over a surface of the ground portion, and a mounting assembly that mounts the blade to the frame, at least part of the mounting assembly pivotable relative to the frame to raise and lower the blade relative to the frame.

Felling head for a forestry machine
A forestry machine configured to cut timber, where the forestry machine comprises a felling head including a support frame having an accumulation pocket, an accumulating arm, and a harvest arm. The forestry machine further comprises a stator having coils thereon adapted to produce a time varying stator magnetic field, a rotor having at least either a set of slots or a set of permanent magnets mounted thereon facing the stator and adapted to produce a radially directed flux or an axially directed flux. The rotor is rotatably coupled to the stator in axial alignment therewith by the time varying stator magnetic field. The rotor comprises a saw blade.
