A track saw assembly is provided including a track saw (i.e., a circular saw) having a shoe translatable upon a track. Various mechanisms control plunging of a saw unit and saw blade of the track saw relative to the shoe. For example, a plunge lockout mechanism is provided to prevent engagement of a trigger and prevent movement of a plunge mechanism. Various mechanisms control bevel angle adjustment of the saw unit relative to the shoe. For example, a linkage is provided and is operable to shift between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a bevel angle is restricted within a first bevel angle range. In the second position, the bevel angle is restricted within an expanded second bevel angle range. Other concepts relate to the interface between the shoe and the track and a clamp which secures the track to a workpiece.

The lockout actuator is movable between a safety position in which the lockout actuator inhibits actuation of a trigger and a use position in which the lockout actuator permits actuation of the trigger. The lever is coupled to and movable with the lockout actuator and the pin. The pin is movable between a first position and a second position. The first and second positions correspond with the safety position and use position, respectively. In the first position, the pin is configured to inhibit a motor housing from being moved from a raised position toward a plunged position. In the second position, the pin is configured to permit the motor housing to be moved from the raised position toward the plunged position.

Lever device

A lever device is configured such that, when first and second plates are relatively moved in a direction in which a second end part of the first plate and a fourth end part of the second plate are close to each other from a state in which the second end part and the fourth end part are separated from each other in an axial direction of a bolt, the first plate is rotated around a fulcrum positioned between a first engagement part and the second end part in the crossing direction so that the first plate is moved from an engaged position where the first engagement part and a non-circular part of the bolt or a nut are engaged to a non-engaged position where they are not engaged, and thereby removing a restriction of the relative rotation of the first plate to the non-circular part.

Lever device

A lever device is configured such that, when first and second plates are relatively moved in a direction in which a second end part of the first plate and a fourth end part of the second plate are close to each other from a state in which the second end part and the fourth end part are separated from each other in an axial direction of a bolt, the first plate is rotated around a fulcrum positioned between a first engagement part and the second end part in the crossing direction so that the first plate is moved from an engaged position where the first engagement part and a non-circular part of the bolt or a nut are engaged to a non-engaged position where they are not engaged, and thereby removing a restriction of the relative rotation of the first plate to the non-circular part.
