The power tool may also include a handle attached to the chassis above the central axis of the guide bar and a motor housed within the chassis to drive a chain around the guide bar, in which the motor is positioned beneath the central axis of the guide bar and a central axis of the motor is at a certain angle with respect to the central axis. The handle, the motor, and the battery pack mount may be positioned with respect to the chassis to cause the power tool to substantially be balanced in both lateral and longitudinal directions about a location near the trigger mechanism when the battery pack is mounted to the battery pack mount.
Telescoping tool with collapsible bearing assembly
A telescoping tool includes a pole assembly, a driveshaft, a plurality of bearings, and at least one connection member. The pole assembly includes an outer pole and an inner pole. The inner pole is slidably received in the outer pole. The pole assembly is movable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. The driveshaft extends longitudinally in the outer pole and the inner pole. Each bearing of the plurality of bearings includes a driveshaft passage defined therein. The driveshaft passage receives the driveshaft therethrough. Each bearing further includes an end connection passage defined therein. The at least one connection member joins adjacent bearings of the plurality of bearings. The at least one connection member is disposed in the end connection passage of each of the adjacent bearings.
Hand-held electric chainsaw
A hand-held electric chainsaw includes a housing, a chain guide, a saw chain, a motor, a hand guard, a protective cover, and a stop pin. The housing includes a grip section. The chain guide is connected to the housing. The saw chain is movable circumferentially along the periphery of the chain guide. The motor is drivingly connected with the saw chain. The hand guard is connected to the housing and disposed between the grip section and the saw chain. The protective cover covers and is located outside a part of the saw chain that moves from the housing in a direction away from the housing. The stop pin is disposed between the saw chain and the grip section, located outside a part of the saw chain that moves in a direction toward the housing, and oriented perpendicular to a circumferential movement direction of the saw chain.
Electric power work device
An electric power work device simplifies a mechanism of a battery attachment part and easily removes a battery from the battery attachment part. A chain saw includes a body case, a cutting part (a work tool), and the battery. A battery removal mechanism for removing the battery is provided on a rear part of the body case. The battery removal mechanism includes a lower end of the battery and a bottom surface of the body case. The lower end of the battery protrudes downward from the bottom surface of the body case, and a frontmost end of a lower part of the battery is disposed in front of a rear end of a lower part of a top handle. Another battery removal mechanism includes a protrusion on the bottom surface of the body case and in front of the lower end of the battery.
POWERED HANDHELD CUTTING TOOL
A handheld cutting tool includes a housing including a motor housing portion, a drive housing portion, and a handle portion extending from one of the motor housing portion or the drive housing portion. A motor is located in the motor housing portion. A driven gear is coupled to the motor for receiving torque therefrom. A first guard extends between the handle portion and one of the drive housing portion or the motor housing portion, and a second guard extends between the drive housing portion and one of the handle portion and the motor housing portion. A guide bar extends from the drive housing portion at an angle offset relative to the handle portion and the first and second guards. A chain is supported on the guide bar, and a battery pack is removably coupled to a bottom part of the handle portion.
Chainsaw
A chainsaw includes a main machine, a battery pack, and a connection assembly. The battery pack is configured to supply energy to the main machine. Moreover, the battery pack and the main machine are separated from each other. The connection assembly is configured to connect the main machine and the battery pack so that the battery pack is electrically connected to the main machine. The main machine includes a chain, a guide plate, a motor, and a housing. The chain is configured to perform a cutting function. The guide plate is configured to support the chain. The motor is configured to drive the chain to move. The housing is configured to accommodate at least part of the motor. The connection assembly is detachably connected to the main machine or the battery pack.
HANDHELD PORTABLE CUTTING APPARATUS HAVING A CUTTER UNIT
A handheld portable cutting apparatus has a cutter unit with a cutter unit longitudinal axis. In a central housing section of the cutting apparatus, a drive connection is arranged between an electric drive motor and the cutter unit, wherein a motor housing having a motor housing longitudinal axis extends from the central housing section. A handle extends from the central housing section in a handle longitudinal axis. The cutter unit includes a guide bar with a saw chain circulating thereon, wherein, in a side view onto the cutting apparatus, the point of intersection between the handle longitudinal axis and the motor housing longitudinal axis and also the point of intersection between the handle longitudinal axis and the cutter unit longitudinal axis lie in the central housing section.
Chainsaw
A chainsaw includes a handle with a handgrip; an electric motor for endlessly moving a saw chain; a control unit for controlling rotation of the motor; and a main power switch switchable between an ON state and an OFF state. The handgrip is provided with a gripping detection device for detecting whether the handgrip is gripped by the worker, and the chainsaw is configured to, when the control unit is manipulated to deactivate the electric motor in a state in which the gripping detection device detects that the handgrip is gripped, maintain the main power switch in the ON state, and to, when the control unit is manipulated to deactivate the electric motor in a state in which the gripping detection device detects that the handgrip is not gripped, switch the main power switch to the OFF state.
POLE SAW
An outdoor tool includes a powerhead, a tool unit powered by the powerhead, and a shaft assembly extending between the powerhead and the tool unit. The tool unit includes a transmission housing, a support plate, a guide bar adjustably supported by the support plate, a drive gear, and a chain circumscribing a portion of the drive gear and a portion of the guide bar, the drive gear operatively coupled to the powerhead. The tool unit further includes a tension adjustment mechanism for adjusting a position of the guide bar relative to the drive gear to increase and decrease a tension in the chain. The tension adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment screw, a threaded adjustment bolt, at least one adjustment gear, and a member coupled to the adjustment bolt and the guide bar.
