HANDHELD POWER TOOL
A handheld power tool (100) comprising at least one orientation sensor (150) is provided. The handheld power tool (100) is operatively connected to a controller (160; 210) and said controller (160; 210) is configured to receive orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150), wherein the orientation data comprises information associated with an orientation of at least a portion of the handheld power tool (100) and to determine operational data based on the orientation data, said operational data representing work performed using the handheld power tool (100). The operational data is determined by determining the orientation of the power tool based on the received orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150).
Gardening and/or Forestry System
A gardening and/or forestry system includes a distance measuring system, including a first distance part and a second distance part, wherein the second distance part is configured to be carried on a body of a gardener and/or forestry worker. The distance measuring system is configured to exchange a measuring signal between the first distance part and the second distance part and to measure a distance between the first distance part and the second distance part based on the exchanged measuring signal. An output device is configured to output information based on the measured distance to the gardener and/or forestry worker.
CHAIN SAW HAVING A MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CHAIN SAW
A motorized chain saw has a measuring system for measuring an object, in particular a trunk. The motorized chain saw has a saw chain, and the measuring system has an evaluation device. The measuring system includes a sensor system for capturing the movement of the saw chain as the saw chain rolls over an object to be measured. The evaluation device is configured to evaluate the movement of the saw chain captured by the sensor system. In a method for operating the motorized chain saw, the sensor system captures the movement of the saw chain as the saw chain rolls over an object to be measured, and the evaluation device evaluates the captured movement.
Measuring accessory for tools
A fixed-length measurement accessory includes a rigid body fixed to a base supporting a magnet for magnetically coupling the accessory to a host tool. An opposite end of the rigid body provides a visual marker for alignment with an end of a workpiece. A variable-length accessory includes telescoping rigid bodies joined by a coupler. One end of one rigid body is joined to a base supporting a magnet for magnetically coupling the accessory to the host tool. The coupler houses a friction member creating light friction resisting adjustment of a combined length of the rigid bodies. An opposite end of the other rigid body provides a visual marker for alignment with an end of the workpiece. Markings are provided on at least one of the rigid bodies for indicating a combined length of the rigid bodies at multiple relative positions.
