Methods for Production of a Guide Bar for a Chainsaw and a Guide Bar for a Chainsaw
The present disclosure relates to a method (100) for production of a chainsaw guide bar (5). The method comprises the steps of providing (120) an elongated core plate (5) extending along a plane, and, in said plane has a length (Lc) in the longitudinal direction (D), and a width (Wc) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (D), comprising a pair of opposite long side edges (33) and at least one detachable element (31) that extends along at least one of the long side edges of the core plate. Arranging (140) a side plate (23a, 23b) on each side of the core plate (25), thereby forming a sandwiched structure and joining (160) of the plates (23a, 23b, 25) for formation of an elongated guide bar (5), wherein the at least one detachable element (31) remains attached to the core plate (25). The disclosure also relates to a guide bar (5) for a chainsaw (1). The guide bar (5) comprises a laminated structure of at least three layers comprising a first side plate (23a), a second side plate (23b), and a core plate (25) disposed between said first side plate (23a) and said second side plate (23b), wherein the core plate (25) is provided with at least one detachable element (31). The disclosure also relates to an alternative method (200) of production of a chainsaw guide bar (5).
CHAIN SAWS, COMPONENTS FOR CHAIN SAWS, AND SYSTEMS FOR OPERATING SAWS
Improved chain saws, components for chain saws, methods of making chain saws and components, and methods of using chain saws and components are disclosed. In some embodiments, a chain saw comprises a saw bar and a plurality of links, wherein a first link has a hook that engages a recess of a second link, thereby coupling the first link and the second link and allowing them to articulate without decoupling. The saw bar may have a rail, and the links may have grooves such that the links straddle and ride over the rail. The rail may have a projection and the grooves of the links may have notches accommodating the projection such that the projection prevents dislocation of the links. The links may have conical or pyramidal cutting teeth. The chain may be bidirectional. Robotic and automated operation of saws and other instruments are also disclosed.

Electric power work device
Provided is an electric power work device which includes: a body case; a work tool protruding forward from a front side with respect to the body case; a motor; and a battery supplying power to the motor. The motor is accommodated in the body case and the battery is detachably attached to a rear side with respect to the body case. A top handle is extended in a longitudinal direction at an upside with respect to the body case. The top handle includes, on an upper surface of a front part thereof, a thumb rest and a power switch. The power switch is arranged on a side in a lateral direction of the thumb rest.
Multi-function adjustable chainsaw
A chainsaw apparatus has a body having a handle formed thereon or attached thereto, a motor, a saw blade coupled to the body so as to be extendable in transverse relationship to the longitudinal axis of the body, and a chain movably positioned on the saw blade. The motor is drivingly connected to the chain so as to cause the chain to move around the saw blade. The saw blade is adjustably coupled to the body so as to be movable between the position transverse to the longitudinal axis of the body to a position aligned with the longitudinal axis of the body. An angle adjustment mechanism is connected to the saw blade into the body. The angle adjustment mechanism is adapted to fix an angular position of the saw blade relative to the body.
