HANDHELD ENGINE-DRIVEN WORKING MACHINE
20190344420 · 2019-11-14 ·

A handheld engine-driven working machine has an AC power supply, a supplying device which supplies fuel and/or air to an engine, a first path and a second path which are connected to the AC power supply in series and connected to each other in parallel, a handle heater for a handle located in the first path, a device heater for the supplying device located in the second path, and a controller located in the second path. The controller includes a temperature switch for the supplying device and a half-wave blocking element connected to the device heater in series. The temperature switch blocks the second path when a temperature of the temperature switch is higher than a predetermined temperature.

POWERED HANDHELD CUTTING TOOL

A handheld cutting tool includes a motor, a driven gear coupled to the motor and a sprocket coupled for co-rotation with the driven gear, a housing, a guide bar extending from the housing, a chain supported on the guide bar and engaged with the sprocket such that rotation of the sprocket moves the chain along the guide bar, and a battery pack removably coupled to the housing, the battery pack including a foot portion defining a base plane. The center of gravity of the handheld cutting tool is located above the foot portion when the handheld cutting tool is stood upright on the foot portion, thus permitting the handheld cutting tool to balance only on the foot portion of the battery pack.

HANDHELD WORK APPARATUS AND DEFLECTION BOWL FOR ITS COMBUSTION ENGINE
20240125293 · 2024-04-18 ·

A handheld work apparatus has a combustion engine and a rest position. The engine includes a cylinder wherein a piston is mounted to drive a crankshaft in a crankcase. The engine has an intake channel having an intake channel section formed in a fuel supply. The intake channel is divided into a mixture channel and an air channel. The engine has an air filter defining a clean chamber for a deflection bowl. The deflection bowl has a first passage opening whereat the air channel passes from the deflection bowl into the clean chamber and a second passage opening whereat the mixture channel passes from the deflection bowl into the clean chamber. The air channel and the mixture channel run mutually separate in the deflection bowl. In the rest position, no second passage opening extends into a region situated lower in terms of the geodetic height than the main fuel opening.

A mechanism for reducing time-lost to tedious but necessary adjustments while using a chainsaw is disclosed, as well as methods of manufacture and use. An embodiment has a metal part fitting inside a plastic handle portion, where the two are sometimes assembled in two halves and then pressed molded or fastened together, in the form of a pull-handle positioned at the end of a starter-cord on a chainsaw. Another embodiment has the metal part containing a flat-blade screwdriver surface at one end, which matches and mates with some type of slotted adjustment fixture within the chainsaw; and where the other end has a socket wrench which matches up with an adjustment bolt within the chainsaw. Yet another embodiment has a dog-bone (socket) wrench fitting at one end, and a flat-blade at the other end.

Handheld work apparatus having a work tool

The invention is directed to a handheld work apparatus having a work tool. The work apparatus defines a longitudinal plane and includes a handle having a longitudinal axis. The blocking lever is mounted so as to be pivotable about a rotational axis. The blocking lever blocks the actuating lever in a blocking or disable position and enables the actuating lever for actuation in at least one operating enable position. In the direction of view perpendicular to the longitudinal plane, the longitudinal axis of the handle and the rotational axis of the blocking lever conjointly define an angle (?). The angle (?) lies in a range of from 10? to 60?.

CHAINSAW AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AND RELEASING A JAMMED STATE OF THE CHAINSAW
20240116208 · 2024-04-11 ·

A chainsaw includes a chain, a liquid pump assembly, a motor, and a controller. The chain is used for implementing a cutting operation. The liquid pump assembly includes a liquid pump and a motor. The liquid pump is used for releasing a liquid for lubricating or cooling the chain. The motor is used for at least driving the liquid pump to operate. The controller is electrically connected to at least the motor. The controller is configured to, when the liquid pump is in the jammed state, control the liquid pump assembly to enter a throttling mode in which a supplied amount of the liquid is reduced, and when the liquid pump exits the jammed state, control the liquid pump assembly to exit the throttling mode. Technical solutions provided by the present application can determine and release the jammed state of the chainsaw.
