CHAIN BAR APPARTUS AND METHODS
Chain bar apparatus and methods are disclosed that may be formed from plastic, metal or other materials. Laser cutting of a chain bar core can provide improved structural characteristics, for example when adhesive is used to assemble the chain bar. Flow diversion elements can be used to optimize flow throughout the chain bar.

Chainsaw guide bar nose assembly
This invention relates to a nose assembly for a chainsaw guide bar for wood harvesting and a chainsaw guide bar having the same. The nose assembly (400) comprising: a pair of nose side plates (410, 420; 470); and a sprocket and bearing assembly adapted to be clamped between the pair of nose side plates (410, 420; 470) and comprising an idler sprocket (450); wherein at least one of the pair of the nose side plates (410, 420; 470) is provided at an inside surface thereof facing to the sprocket and bearing assembly with one or more lubricant conveying channels for lubricating the sprocket and bearing assembly. The chainsaw guide bars according to the present invention enable flow of lubricant to moving parts in order to reduce friction of these moving parts as a saw chain rotates though the guide bar.

Hand-guided power tool with a guide bar
A power tool has a sprocket wheel cover mounted on a housing and a guide bar secured between housing and sprocket wheel cover and having a guide groove for a saw chain. The guide bar has a guide slot extending in a longitudinal direction of the guide bar and guiding the guide bar on a guide element for longitudinal movement relative to the housing. The guide bar has a first exterior side extending in a first plane and facing the housing and a second exterior side extending in a second plane and facing the sprocket wheel cover. The guide bar has an oil supply opening extending from the second exterior side into the guide groove and connected by an oil supply channel with an oil supply device. The oil supply channel has a channel section separate from the guide bar and extending from the first to the second plane.

CHAIN SAW
A chain saw includes a housing, a working head, a protective member, and a pumping mechanism. The working head includes a guide plate and a cutting element arranged around the guide plate. The cutting element moves around the guide plate to implement cutting. The protective member is movably mounted on the housing, and at least partially covered on the working head. The pumping mechanism is configured to deliver a lubricating medium to the working head. The pumping mechanism is configured to output the lubricating medium as triggered by movement of the protective member. When the working head is in a working state, the protective member is pushable by a to-be-cut object to move in a direction away from the working head, to trigger the pumping mechanism to output the lubricating medium.

Chainsaw
A power tool includes a switch moveable between a first position enabling activation of a motor and a second position disabling the motor. The power tool includes a trigger movably coupled to a housing of the power tool between an OFF position and an ON position. The switch moves from the second position to the first position in response to the trigger moving from the OFF position to the ON position. The power tool includes a trigger lock-off pivotably coupled to the housing between a lock position and an unlock position. The trigger lock-off is engageable with the trigger to inhibit movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the lock position. The trigger lock-off allows movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the unlock position.
Positioning system
A positioning system for attachment to a vehicle for operation of a power tool by a ground-based operator sitting in the vehicle provides a telescoping mast attached to the vehicle, a pivot bracket connecting an upper arm to the upper portion of the telescoping mast, mounting means for mounting the power tool on the upper arm; and power means for operating the power tool from the operator's position in the vehicle.
