Chain saw
A chain saw includes a housing, a motor, a chain saw bar assembly, a tensioning assembly set on the housing, and an adjustment assembly set on the side cover corresponding to the tensioning assembly. The chain saw bar assembly is detachably connected to the first housing through the combination of the tensioning assembly and the elastic components, the adjustment assembly is movably connected with the tensioning assembly, and the adjustment assembly can adjust the relative position of the tensioning assembly and the guide shaft, to tension the chain set on the circumferential direction of the guide bar and tightly lock the chain saw bar assembly between the first housing and the side cover.
Lightweight chainsaw guide bar
A chainsaw (100) includes a power unit and a working assembly powered responsive to operation of the power unit. The working assembly includes a guide bar (120) around which a chain is rotatable. The guide bar (120) includes a first side plate (200) and a second side plate (210) facing each other and extending away from the housing (110) to a nose of the guide bar (120), the first and second side plates (200 and 210) each including an inner sidewall (224 and 222) facing inwardly toward each other. Each of the inner sidewalls (224 and 222) includes a recessed portion (230) at which material of the inner sidewalls (224 and 222) has been removed.

Chain saw and method for tensioning a saw chain of a chain saw
The disclosure relates to a chain saw having a housing and a drive motor. The guide bar is held on the housing by way of a releasable fastening arrangement and, when the fastening arrangement is released, by way of a tensioning device is displaceable in relation to the housing in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the guide bar. The chain saw includes a chain lifting device which is configured separately from the tensioning device. The chain lifting device in a deflected position of the chain lifting device is configured for deflecting the saw chain when the tensioning device tensions the saw chain, and in an operating position of the chain lifting device is configured for relaxing the saw chain when the guide bar is fixed.

POLE SAW
An outdoor tool includes a powerhead, a tool unit powered by the powerhead, and a shaft assembly extending between the powerhead and the tool unit. The tool unit includes a transmission housing, a support plate, a guide bar adjustably supported by the support plate, a drive gear, and a chain circumscribing a portion of the drive gear and a portion of the guide bar, the drive gear operatively coupled to the powerhead. The tool unit further includes a tension adjustment mechanism for adjusting a position of the guide bar relative to the drive gear to increase and decrease a tension in the chain. The tension adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment screw, a threaded adjustment bolt, at least one adjustment gear, and a member coupled to the adjustment bolt and the guide bar. Rotation of the adjustment screw causes translation of the guide bar relative to the drive gear.
