A power tool includes a transmission assembly configured to transmit power between a motor and an output assembly to drive an output shaft to oscillate back and forth; and an adjustment assembly for adjusting the transmission assembly. The adjustment assembly is configured to, when a load of the output shaft satisfies a preset value of the adjustment assembly, control the transmission assembly according to the load of the output shaft so that the transmission assembly adjusts an angle of oscillation of a work attachment.

INTEGRATED CUTTING GUIDE AND SURGICAL SAW BLADE ASSEMBLY, THE CUTTING GUIDE INCLUDING A MOVEABLE HEAD THAT CONSTRAINS THE MOVEMENT OF THE BLADE ASSEMBLY

A surgical sagittal saw blade assembly and cutting guide for use with the blade assembly. The blade assembly includes a static bar from which a moving blade head protrudes. The blade head is reciprocated by a drive link internal to the bar. The cutting guide has a body that is positioned adjacent where the blade is to be used to cut tissue. The cutting guide has an outer surface over which the blade assembly is positioned. The cutting guide has a constraining feature. The constraining feature holds the blade bar to the body of the guide so the blade assembly can move over the body while being constrained from movement above the outer surface of the body. The constraining feature is mounted to the body of the cutting guide so as to be able to move while constraining guide retains the blade bar.

Blade and Blade Attachment System for an Oscillating Tool

A blade attachment system includes a tool mount, a blade holder plate attached to the tool mount adapter; and a clamping assembly attached to the blade holder plate. The clamping assembly includes a plurality of fixed clamping positioned adjacent to at least one of the lateral edges of the blade when the blade is placed on the blade holder plate and including tapered surfaces configured to overlap the lateral edges of the blade and at least one movable clamping pin that is movably mounted to the blade holder plate, the movable clamping pin being configured to move with respect to the blade to move the lateral edges of the blade into engagement with the tapered surfaces of the clamping pins.

Blade and Blade Attachment System for an Oscillating Tool

A handheld oscillating tool includes a blade attachment system having a tool mounting portion configured to enable the tool mounting portion to be releasably secured to a tool holder of an oscillating tool such that the blade attachment system oscillates with the tool holder and a blade mounting portion configured to releasably retain a blade with a planar body of the blade arranged substantially perpendicular to the oscillation axis and with one of the leading edge and the trailing edge of the blade positioned forwardly with respect to the tool mounting portion.

Surgical Cutting Instrument With Near-Perimeter Interlocking Coupling Arrangement
20170086856 · 2017-03-30 ·

A blade coupling mechanism for a hand-held surgical cutting instrument includes a first coupling member including a first blade-contacting surface and a first outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the first blade contacting surface. It also includes a second coupling member including a second blade-contacting surface facing the first blade-contacting surface of the first coupling member. The second coupling member includes a second outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the second blade contacting surface. The second blade-contacting surface and the second outer perimeter sidewall meet to define an outer edge. The second coupling member including a bore through the second blade contacting surface. The bore and the second blade contacting surface meeting to define an inner edge. Blade-engaging protrusions project from at least one of the first and second blade-contacting surfaces. The protrusions are spaced closer to the outer edge than the inner edge.

WORK TOOL

A power tool for driving an accessary removably held between first and second clamp parts includes a first shaft having the first clamp part, a second shaft for moving the second clamp part, a holding member movable relative to the second shaft, a moving member for moving the holding member, and a biasing member for biasing the moving member. The second shaft is disposed inside the first shaft. The holding member enables the second clamp part and the first clamp part to hold the tool accessary therebetween in a first position, and disables the second clamp part and the first clamp part from holding the tool accessary in a second position. The moving member moves the holding member from the first position to the second position, and the biasing member biases the moving member when the holding member is located in the second position.
