Adjusting device for a pressure roller of a processing machine, particularly a moulding machine, and processing machine, particularly moulding machine, with such an adjusting device
The adjusting device for a pressure roller of a processing machine has a pivotable support arm carrying a pressure roller adjustable with the support arm from a pressure position into a resting position. The support arm is seated on a support rod that engages a clamping aperture of a pressure roller bracket. The support rod has a first section with noncircular cross section that forms a form-fit section cooperating with the clamping aperture of the pressure roller bracket by form-fit. The support rod has a second section arranged axially offset to the first section and forming a rotary section. It rests against the inner side of the clamping aperture and allows rotation of the support rod about its axis in the clamping aperture. The pressure roller can be pivoted easily into a resting position and/or transverse to the workpiece in the width direction with a constructively simple design.
Power feeder and fence for inverted routers
An electrically powered work piece feeder for use with inverted routers or small shapers incorporates improvements in adjustability which enhances accuracy, convenience, and safety in the use of such power tools. The powered feeder element mounts on a table fence and has an inverted roller suspended over the table adjacent a working face. Mounting structure permits positional adjustment of the roller in spatial relation to the power tool cutter and a workpiece on the table so as to propel the workpiece on the table over the power tool cutter and along the working face in the direction of the longitudinal feed axis. An out-feed section may be provided on the fence that includes inner and outer wedge-shaped ramps movable with respect to one another along the longitudinal feed axis and adapted to be locked together, thus allowing slow and precise advancement of the outer ramp toward the router.
Workpiece holddown apparatus for a bandsaw
A hold down mechanism for a bandsaw including an upstream wheel positioned upstream of the saw blade and a downstream wheel positioned downstream of the saw blade, each wheel being rotationally connected to a bogie which is in turn supported on a swing arm. The proximity of the upstream and downstream wheels to the saw blade as well as the degree of pivoting motion permitted by the bogie enable a hold down wheel to press the ends if sequential workpieces against a base as the ends pass the saw blade to assure a uniform thickness of the cut workpiece. An angled guide surface is provide upstream from the forward wheel to assist the forward wheel in elevating when a trailing workpiece is significantly thicker than the workpiece preceding.

Safety feeder usable with different woodworking machines
A safety feeder usable with different woodworking machines includes a fixing frame releasably mountable on a woodworking machine. A device connects to the fixing frame. The fixing frame cranes the device. The device includes a drive device, a transmission system, and at least one first and second pressing rollers. The drive device engages with and is able to drive the at least one first and second pressing rollers through the transmission system. The transmission system includes an axle engaging with the at least one first and second pressing rollers. The at least one first and second pressing rollers are disposed separately in an axial direction with a predetermined gap on the axle.
