Mechanism for pivoting a limit plate to top of a rip fence
A table saw includes a base assembly; a table assembly mounted on the base assembly and including a table; a slide mechanism mounted on the table assembly; and a rip fence assembly mounted on one side of the table assembly. The rip fence assembly includes a receptacle in a lower portion of one end; an elongated limit plate including two 90-degree bent arms at two ends respectively, each bent arm including a slot having a first end and a second end; a limit seat facing the receptacle; a spring-biased detent anchored in the receptacle and urging against an inner surface of the limit seat by passing through the second end of the slot; and a pivot disposed on an upper portion of one end of the rip fence assembly and disposed through the first end of the slot.

Table saw having visually different scales
A scale assembly of a table saw includes a first positioning pin of white, a second positioning pin of black, and a third positioning pin of yellow disposed on the first slide strip of a slide mechanism; a first scale of white disposed on a top of the first slide strip; a second scale of black and a third scale of yellow disposed on a top of the first track respectively; a first pointer disposed on one end of the top of the first track and forwardly pointing to the first scale of white of the first slide strip; and a second pointer disposed on the other end of the top of the first slide strip and rearward pointing to both the second scale of black and the third scale. The scale is visible in a cutting operation.
Multi-length bucking attachment
A bucking apparatus to be used in conjunction with a loader and topping saw that are mounted to a logging platform or trailer. The bucking apparatus is attached to the loader and includes a plurality of hatches. The hatches can be adjusted for different lengths so that different length logs can be cut when eliminating faults from the trees. The hatches of the bucking apparatus are measured to be particular distances from the topping saw and so, when a tree is pulled through the topping saw with the loader, the end being held can be aligned with one of the hatches, and then the saw can be engaged thus creating a log of the particular length.

KERF FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method are provided for forming a kerf in a workpiece, which may be used with a table saw for simultaneously cutting the workpiece to length. A fence-engaging member engages a fence of the table saw to prevent movement of the apparatus relative to the fence. A rotary cutting tool for forming the kerf in the workpiece, is disposed above a work surface supporting the workpiece. A guide member for engaging the workpiece prevents the workpiece from translating in the transverse direction, while permitting the workpiece to translate on the longitudinal direction, on the work surface relative to the rotary cutting tool. A motor-actuated feed roller assists with moving the workpiece into engagement with the rotary cutting tool. An enclosure for the rotary cutting tool defines a dust collection port.

Slide mechanism and rip fence of table saw
A table saw includes a slide mechanism on a table assembly and including a knob, front and rear roller pinions, two slides slidably secured to front and rear ends of the table respectively, each slide having a bottom rack engaging the roller pinion, a groove on an outer surface, and projections projecting out of the groove, front and rear mounting members secured to the table, and an axle; and a rip fence assembly on either side of the table assembly and including front and rear arms each having a cavity for releasably securing to one projection, a rip fence between the arms, front and rear risers respectively for fastening either end of the rip fence and either one of the front and rear arms, and two levers on the arms respectively, each lever including an upper pivot, an intermediate urging protuberance, and a lower protrusion.
