TABLE SAW

A table saw includes a workbench, a support frame, a cutting assembly, a mounting device, and a first lighting mechanism. The workbench has a workplane. The support frame is used for supporting the workbench. The cutting assembly includes a cutting element, where the cutting element is disposed at least partially above the workplane, and a drive device that drives the cutting element to rotate around a rotational axis in a cutting plane. The mounting device is disposed above the cutting element. The first lighting mechanism is disposed on the mounting device and generates a first lighting region toward the cutting assembly.

A fence stop system for a table saw includes a fence stop that has a stop surface that is moveable between first and second positions. In the first position, the stop surface is disengaged from a portion of a table saw fence. In the second position, the stop surface engages the portion of the table saw fence. The fence stop includes a micro adjustment mechanism to “dial in” an exact measurement for a rip or cut. The fence stop system may additionally include a second fence stop that can be coupled to the first fence stop to create a mated pair. When the stop surfaces are in their second positions (i.e., stopping position), part of the table saw fence is disposed between the respective stop surfaces that allow the fence to translate between the stop surfaces to effectuate a dado cut in the wood.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for positioning and/or processing items, such as workpieces. The systems, methods, and apparatus may include or use a linear positioner forming a track. In some embodiments, the linear positioner may include a carriage configured to be driven along the track to a desired position, in response to a signal(s), such as a radiofrequency signal(s), received from a computer, which may be a general-purpose, handheld computer, such as a phone or tablet. In some embodiments, the linear positioner may comprise a shuttle including a motor and a carriage, and may be configured to drive itself as a unit along the track. In some embodiments, the track may include a rack having a linear array of teeth formed by two or more frame sections, such as table sections, coupled end to end, with each support section providing a segment of the rack.

RIP GUIDE

A power tool guide having a tool plate adapted to receive a power tool. The plate has a power tool engagement clamp to engage a power tool and connect the power tool to said tool plate without the use of tools. The tool plate has opposed channels and a control lock. A support base has opposed guide rails, each of the guide rails has first and second ends. The tool plate has opposed channels that are removably mounted upon the support base opposed guide rails between the first and second ends. The channels allow the tool plate to slide upon opposed guide rails and to be easily removed from the rails. The control lock locks the tool plate with respect to the support base at a desired position along the opposed guide rails a spaced distance from the first and second ends. The support base has an edge extending from at least one of the guide rails adjacent one of the first and second ends. The edge engages a side of the workpiece to slide along the side of the workpiece to be moved along the workpiece with the tool positioned a spaced distance from the side of the workpiece.

A sled assembly configured to push stock along a fence includes a carriage and rollers mounted at spaced apart positions. The rollers engage the fence to guide movement of the carriage therealong and each has a peripheral portion for being received in a fence race. An adjustable roller mount selectively adjusts the position of the roller to align the peripheral portions of the rollers with the width of the race. An adjustable fence assembly includes an outfeed fence movable relative to an infeed fence. An outfeed fence adjustment mechanism includes mounting posts at spaced apart locations along the length of the outfeed fence movable to drive movement of the outfeed fence along an axis transverse to the feed direction.

An adjustable mounting assembly for a table saw fence includes an elongate track for connecting to a table saw. A carriage is supported by and movable longitudinally on the track for carrying the fence such that the fence extends across a tabletop of the table saw. An incremental adjustment wheel mechanism is rotatably supported by the carriage and interengages the track. The adjustment wheel mechanism is rotated a selected amount to adjust the position of the carriage on the track. The track carries an electronic sensor strip and a digital readout attached to the carriage movably cooperates with the electronic sensor strip for measuring and displaying the longitudinal position of the carriage on the track and the position of the fence relative to the saw blade.
