Stop unit and bench saw
A stop unit, in particular to an angle stop, for guiding and/or for the feed of a workpiece to a saw blade of a bench saw, including a stop arm which extends in a longitudinal direction for the contact of the workpiece. The stop arm includes a main section which is manufactured from a first material and which extends over more than half the longitudinal extension of the stop arm, and at least one second end section which is arranged on an end of the main section which is located in the longitudinal direction. The second section is able to come into contact with the saw blade given an advance of the workpiece towards the saw blade, where the at least one end section is manufactured from a second material.
Miter saws having locking assemblies for optimal positioning of cutting blades
A miter saw includes a base, a table disposed on the base and having a top surface extending between a front end and a rear end of the table, a cutting assembly overlying the table, the cutting assembly including a rotatable cutting blade having a peripheral cutting edge, and a motor for driving the cutting blade. The miter saw has at least one guide rail interconnecting the table and the cutting assembly for guiding sliding movement of the cutting assembly over the table between a rear-most position and a forward-most position. A locking assembly is coupled with the cutting assembly for locking the cutting assembly in only one position between the rear-most position and the forward-most position. During a cutting operation, the locking assembly remains coupled with the cutting assembly while the cutting blade moves downwardly for preventing sliding movement of the cutting assembly.

CUTTING TOOL FENCE APPARATUS WITH MEASURING RULER AND MOVEABLE MATERIAL STOP COMPONENT
A cutting tool fence apparatus with a flip stop connector, measuring ruler and moveable material stop. The cutting tool fence apparatus includes a measuring ruler included on the fence itself to provide a precise measuring system. The fence includes a connection apparatus to connect the fence to a flip-stop. The flip-stop allows a tape measure to be used to provide a precise measurements with the measuring ruler imprinted on the fence. The fence is also used as a zero-clearance fence with a moveable material stop component that can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to securely hold a piece of material for cutting.

Portable saw apparatus for cutting oversized substrates
A portable saw table apparatus for cutting oversized substrates at a work site which provides a centrally pivoted cutting table, the cutting surface of which is not interrupted by a central pivot element; and further comprises a saw support which is also not centrally mounted on the pivoting table. Also provided is a method for cutting oversized substrates such as commercial-sized trim or other construction materials onsite at a construction site.
Saw
A saw including a base assembly having a work surface, a cutting unit mounted on the base assembly capable of cutting a work piece located on the work surface, and a fixed fence mounted on the base assembly for supporting the work piece when it is being cut. The base assembly has a rib abutting the fixed fence, The fixed fence abuts against the rib in a direction of a force applied to the fixed fence by the work piece when it is being cut.

Fence assembly for a miter saw
A leaning grid device, also referred to as a fence assembly, for a miter saw includes at least one upper leaning grid which is a movable leaning grid having an upper support surface for a work piece and at least one lower leaning grid having a lower support surface for the work piece. The lower leaning grid is also a movable leaning grid and may move between two support positions. The lower support surface and the upper support surface are in a same plane when the lower leaning grid is located at the support positions and the lower support surface and the upper support surface are in different planes when the lower leaning grid is located at a position that is between the support positions.
