Utilizing a fence assembly that provides surfaces at different angles
Techniques utilize a fence assembly which includes a fence member constructed and arranged to (i) install on a saw base and (ii) provide a first surface that restricts movement of an object in a first direction when the fence member is installed on the saw base. The fence assembly further includes a stop member constructed and arranged to provide a second surface that restricts movement of the object in a second direction that is different from the first direction when the stop member is in a fixed position relative to the fence member. The fence member further includes positioning hardware constructed and arranged to position the stop member in the fixed position relative to the fence member. Actuation of the positioning hardware enables the stop member to be adjusted to accommodate different object for cutting.
Auxiliary saw fences
Auxiliary fences for a saw that includes a saw blade and a primary fence. The auxiliary fence includes a fixed plate and a moveable plate. The fixed plate is removably coupled to the primary fence. The moveable plate is moveably coupled to the fixed plate. The moveable plate extends between a trailing end and a leading end longitudinally opposite the trailing end. The leading end is disposed proximate a cutting path of the saw. The trailing end is disposed distal the cutting path. The moveable plate is configured to move to selectively adjust the spacing between the leading end and the cutting path.

Cutting guide
A cutting guide for a saw includes a blade lying in a cutting plane. The cutting guide includes a bracket configured to be removably rotationally attached to the saw. The bracket includes a light clamp, a saw clamp, and a light emitter contained therein a sealed housing. The saw clamp is configured to removably rotationally attach the bracket to the saw, and the light emitter is removably attached to the bracket via the light clamp. The saw clamp is configured to rotate the light emitter in a pivot plane about a pivot axis parallel to the cutting plane. The saw clamp includes a first portion and a second portion each configured with female cylindrical surfaces to clamp to a grasping handle of the saw. The light clamp is a compression clamp configured to hold the light emitter in place. The light emitter includes a laser.

PRECISION CUTTING GUIDE SYSTEM
This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods for indicating the desired placement of material in relation to a cutting machine to achieve a desired cut. A digital precision guide system comprising a digital guide rail configured to be positioned adjacent to a cutting machine, wherein the digital guide rail and a user interface comprising a processor, wherein the processor is configured to receive at least a desired cut length from the user interface and indicate the desired cut length away from a blade of the cutting machine. The desired cut length may be indicated by actuating an LED indicator tick mark or moving a trop member to an appropriate position for placement of the material to be cut. The system may further include at least one of a digital tape measure or a digital angle measurement device.
RIP-CUT SAW GUIDE SYSTEM
In one or more arrangements, a guide system for woodworking operations is presented which has a rail and a pair of side members operably connected to, and adjustable along a length of, the rail. In one or more arrangements, the side members are connected directly to the rail while in other arrangements the side members are indirectly connected to the rail, such as through use of a front member. In some various arrangements, the side members are laterally adjustable in order to accommodate various shapes, sizes, and configurations of base plates on various cutting members.
