Table Saw Fence With Tension Adjustment Cam
A fence assembly of a saw device includes a fence, a slide mechanism coupled to one end of the fence, and a tensioning mechanism coupled to the other end of the fence. The fence assembly includes a handle that is supported on the slide mechanism via a cam. The handle is rotatable relative to the cam between a first position in which the fence assembly is fixed relative to the rails, and a second position in which the fence assembly is movable relative to the rails. The fence assembly includes a tension member that is coupled at one end to the handle and at the other end to the tensioning mechanism. The cam is rotatable relative to the slide mechanism about a cam rotational axis, and rotation of the cam relative to the cam rotational axis provides an adjustment of a tension force applied by the tension member.

Table Saw Fence With Adjustment Mechanism
A fence assembly configured to guide a workpiece with respect to a blade of a saw device includes a fence that is supported by rails for sliding movement relative to a work surface. Opposed ends of the fence are supported on the rails via rail engagement members. The fence assembly includes a fence angle adjustment mechanism associated with a housing of one of the rail engagement members. The fence angle adjustment mechanism includes biasing elements working in conjunction with an adjustment screw to adjust the position of the fence with respect to parallelism to the blade.

DEVICE FOR LOCKING RIP FENCE OF TABLE SAW
A scale assembly of a table saw includes front and rear outer slide members disposed at front and rear ends of a slide mechanism respectively; front and rear inner slide members disposed at front and rear ends of a table assembly respectively wherein the front inner slide member slides in the front outer slide member, and the rear inner slide member slides in the rear outer slide member; a block member secured to a front end of a rip fence assembly and including a channel and a spring biased member; and a lever in the channel and including an exposed trigger, a projection, and first and second recesses. In a locked position, the spring biased member has one end entered the first recess and the projection enters a lengthwise cavity on an outer surface of the front outer slide member.
Miter saw
A miter saw includes a fence assembly having a first fence fixedly coupled to a base of the miter saw. The fence assembly includes a moveable fence having a lower portion slidably received within a channel at least partially defined by the first fence. The fence assembly includes a locking member coupled to the first fence. The locking member extends into a groove defined by the lower portion of the moveable fence. The locking member is configured to engage the lower portion of the moveable fence to selectively lock the moveable fence between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the first fence. The fence assembly includes a retaining member coupled to the first fence and extending into the groove of the moveable fence. The locking member and the retaining member collectively restrict the moveable fence from moving in a direction away from the horizontal workpiece support surfaces.
SAW
A saw with a base assembly, a saw assembly pivotally mounted on the base assembly which is capable of pivoting towards the base assembly to a cut a work piece located on the base assembly, and a fence assembly extending across at least part of the base assembly. The fence assembly has a fence base, a fence plate slidingly mounted on the fence base, and a moveable stop mounted on the fence plate which is capable of being moved between two positions.
LINEAR POSITIONER
Systems, methods, and apparatus for positioning and/or processing items, such as workpieces. The systems, methods, and apparatus may include or use a linear positioner forming a track. In some embodiments, the linear positioner may include a carriage configured to be driven along the track to a desired position, in response to a signal(s), such as a radiofrequency signal(s), received from a computer, which may be a general-purpose, handheld computer, such as a phone or tablet. In some embodiments, the linear positioner may comprise a shuttle including a motor and a carriage, and may be configured to drive itself as a unit along the track. In some embodiments, the track may include a rack having a linear array of teeth formed by two or more frame sections, such as table sections, coupled end to end, with each support section providing a segment of the rack.
Parallel guide cutting system
A system for cutting wide workpieces is presented having a track that extends a length between opposing ends and extends a width between a cutting edge and a non-cutting edge. One or more measuring bodies are connected to track and include a flexible measuring tape that extends outward from the rear side of the measuring body. The measuring bodies include a locking member that includes an arm connected to a rotating axle having a cam surface that pushes down upon a brake shoe that includes pads formed of a material having a high coefficient of friction that securely holds the measuring tape between the brake shoe on one side and a cradle on the other side. In this way, a system is presented that facilitates quick, easy and repeatable cuts on wide workpieces.
