Linear saw, and machining method and numerical control machining device that use same
A linear saw, machining method using the same and numerical controlled machining device. The linear saw has: a machining part (1), for cutting a machining object in a linearly extending direction of the linear saw, and generating a slot on the machining object; and the linear saw further includes a space-keeping part (2) arranged such that the whole linear saw does not contact the slot or is not subject to an acting force of the slot when the space-keeping part passes through the slot. As the linear saw is provided with a space-keeping structure, the linear saw has time and space to recover from a deformation generated by cutting the machining object, thus effectively preventing accumulated errors, and greatly improving the position precision of the machining seam.

LAND PREPARATION TOOLS
A land preparation tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface, mounting surfaces disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface, and opposing side surfaces each extending between the cutting surface and a different one of the mounting surfaces. One mounting surface angles inwardly from a distal edge of a side surface toward the tool body. Another mounting surface angles inwardly from a distal edge of the other side surface toward the tool body. An opening is disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface and between the mounting surfaces. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
MACHINE FOR LAND CLEARING AND PREPARATION
A land preparation machine includes a land preparation apparatus connected to a lift assembly of a vehicle. The land preparation apparatus has a rotatable drum and a plurality of tools assemblies disposed thereon. A tool assembly of the plurality of tool assemblies includes a tool holder and a tool attached thereto. The tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface disposed on a side of the tool body, an apex disposed on a different side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface, and tool mounting surfaces disposed on the side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface. One tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex at an angle toward the cutting surface. Another tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex, opposite the other tool mounting surface, at an angle toward the cutting surface. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Tipped Circular Saw Blade
A tipped circular saw blade includes a disk-shaped metal base having a central axis of rotation, and a plurality of circumferentially-spaced tips extending radially outward from an outer periphery of the metal base. Each tip includes a flank along the radially outer portion thereof, a side face located along a side of the flank, and a chamfer extending between the flank and the side face. The chamfer is oriented at a chamfered angle with respect of the flank. Further, each tip includes a cutting edge located on an end of the flank in the circumferential direction. The cutting edge is configured to cut the workpiece. In addition, each tip includes a groove formed on the flank and extending circumferentially from the cutting edge. The width of the groove may be 0.20 mm to 0.30 mm.
Band saw blade for cutting structural workpieces
A band saw blade may include a cutting edge defined by a number of teeth. Each tooth may include a tip, a rake face, a primary clearance surface defining a primary relief angle, a secondary clearance surface defining a secondary relief angle greater than the primary relief angle, a tertiary clearance surface defining a tertiary relief angle greater than the secondary relief angle, a first curvilinear protrusion formed between the secondary clearance surface and the tertiary clearance surface, a gullet surface, and a second curvilinear protrusion formed between the rake face and the gullet surface. The teeth may be spaced at varying pitch distances such that a difference between a minimum teeth per inch (TPI) based on a maximum pitch distance and a maximum TPI based on a minimum pitch distance is equal to or greater than 1, and may define a kerf width between 0.115 inches to 0.140 inches.
Band saw blade for cutting structural workpieces
A band saw blade may include a cutting edge defined by a number of teeth. Each tooth may include a tip, a rake face, a primary clearance surface defining a primary relief angle, a secondary clearance surface defining a secondary relief angle greater than the primary relief angle, a tertiary clearance surface defining a tertiary relief angle greater than the secondary relief angle, a first curvilinear protrusion formed between the secondary clearance surface and the tertiary clearance surface, a gullet surface, and a second curvilinear protrusion formed between the rake face and the gullet surface. STUMP CUTTER TOOTH ASSEMBLY
A stump cutter tooth assembly includes a stump cutter tooth held by a pocket member that includes an arcuate shoulder having one or more tabs. A stump cutter tooth is adapted to be mounted on the pocket member. The stump cutter tooth includes a tooth body having one or more recesses and an arcuate outer surface. The arcuate outer surface of the stump cutter tooth is adapted to abut against the arcuate shoulder of the pocket member to prevent unwanted movement of the stump cutter tooth relative to the pocket member during the cutting operation. The one or more recesses of the stump cutter tooth cooperate with the one or more tabs of the pocket member to provide an anti-rotation and locating feature.
Tooth formations and arrangement for a saw blade
A saw blade can include a blade body having a cutting edge defined by multiple teeth. The teeth can be disposed in a repeating pattern including a raker tooth, a first set tooth having a light offset to a right side of the blade body, a second set tooth having a heavy offset to the left side of the blade body, a second raker tooth, a third set tooth having a light offset to the left side, and a fourth set tooth having a heavy offset to the right side of the blade body. Each tooth can include a tip, rake face, gullet having a gullet depth, and one or more clearance surfaces. The pitch distance and gullet depth of the heavy offset teeth can be less than the pitch distances and gullet depths of the remaining teeth to provide an increased amount of strength for the heavy offset teeth.
SAW TOOTH AND INSERT THEREFOR
A saw tooth for a saw including a square saw tooth body to be mounted on a holder and for receiving inserts fastened to inwardly sloping seating surfaces on the cutting end of the tooth body. The inserts are provided with cutting edges. Between seating surfaces, the cutting end of the tooth body defines recesses for receiving intermediate members fastened therein. The intermediate members are provided with cutting edges, and the intermediate members abut the adjoining inserts to form a cutting surface about the periphery of the cutting end of the saw tooth and help protect the saw tooth body from damage including washout.
