At least one pressing element is fastened to the at least one support. At least one wedge clamping device is provided that has at least one wedge pressure member with a first wedge surface that is resting on the counter wedge surface of the at least one support. The at least one wedge clamping device also has at least one adjusting element acting on the at least one wedge pressure member. The at least one wedge clamping device clamps the at least one pressing element on the at least one support. A machine tool with such a pressing device is provided.

A method and an apparatus with rotating tool changer for automatically machining multiple sides of a workpiece which is trimmed and machined according to tags placed on the workpiece or preprogrammed sequence. A method that automatically selects and adjusts parametric computer machining code to machine various workpieces sizes. An apparatus comprising a handling and trimming station of parts to be machined, multiple optical, magnetic or radio-frequency identification (RFID) reading systems for processing labels or tags information for sequential workpieces machining steps, a multiple gantries computer numerical control (CNC) station for machining workpieces on various sides, multiple rotating tool changers for selecting tools used to machine workpieces, and a storage station that receives workpieces in sequential order when they have been processed. The moving gantries of the CNC station simultaneous machine multiple sides of the workpiece which in the preferred embodiment is composed of panel for making decorative items and engraved doors.

Method for producing structures or contours on a workpiece, and moulder
In a molder, at least one rotatably driven tool (7, 8, 10, 11) is used to produce the structure (27) or contour on the workpiece (1) by workpiece removal. The workpiece positions along the workpiece (1) for producing the structure or contour are set depending on the data of the workpiece (1) and of the tool (7, 8, 10, 11). The data are transmitted to the machine controller which processes the CNC program based on the data during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the molder and moves the tool (7, 8, 10, 11) into the required positions via CNC drives depending on the workpiece position. The workpiece position is sensed during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the molder. In order to sense the workpiece position in the molder, at least one measuring element (18) is provided upstream and downstream of the tool (1), said measuring element (18) being connected to the machine controller and supplying signals that describe the advancing travel of the workpiece (1) to the machine controller. By way of the machine controller, the tool (7, 8, 10, 11) is moved into the respective tool positions in accordance with the signals.
Method for producing structures or contours on a workpiece, and moulder
In a molder, at least one rotatably driven tool (7, 8, 10, 11) is used to produce the structure (27) or contour on the workpiece (1) by workpiece removal. The workpiece positions along the workpiece (1) for producing the structure or contour are set depending on the data of the workpiece (1) and of the tool (7, 8, 10, 11). The data are transmitted to the machine controller which processes the CNC program based on the data during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the molder and moves the tool (7, 8, 10, 11) into the required positions via CNC drives depending on the workpiece position. The workpiece position is sensed during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the molder. In order to sense the workpiece position in the molder, at least one measuring element (18) is provided upstream and downstream of the tool (1), said measuring element (18) being connected to the machine controller and supplying signals that describe the advancing travel of the workpiece (1) to the machine controller. By way of the machine controller, the tool (7, 8, 10, 11) is moved into the respective tool positions in accordance with the signals.
