The ball-shaped drinking container is adapted for use in containing beverages. The ball-shaped drinking container is contained within a shell that may be formed in the shape of a sports ball potentially including, but not limited to, a football, a baseball, a basketball, or a soccer ball. The ball-shaped drinking container is formed in such a manner that the ball-shaped drinking container will float. This feature makes the ball-shaped drinking container suitable for outdoor use by an end user. The ball-shaped drinking container comprises a shell, a hinged lid, and a bladder.

Disclosed herein is a beverage container holding apparatus that floats in water. More specifically, the beverage container holding apparatus is configured for being floated in water and being supported by a rigid support surface such as, for example, a countertop or table. Advantageously, such a beverage container holding apparatus is configured for limiting a potential for the beverage container holding apparatus to overturn and to exhibit floatation stability as a volume of liquid with in the beverage holding container changes such as through consumption thereof. Preferably, such a beverage container holding apparatus additionally serves to insulate the beverage container held therein.

A buoyant, floatable drink holder is provided. The drink holder may be a disc shaped body which defines a central opening to hold a cup. The drink holder is wide enough relative to the cup diameter such that it stabilizes the cup when floating in the water and prevents it tipping to the side. As configured, the drink holder allows a user to place a cup in the holder and place the cup and holder in the water, whereby the holder floats the cup on the water and stabilizes it for convenient and reliable access to a drink while in the water without having to constantly hold the drink.

A buoyant holder and buoyant holding system are disclosed. The buoyant holder includes an inner portion, a plurality of outer portions extending outward from the inner portion along a common plane, each of the plurality of outer portions comprising two contiguous surfaces forming an acute angle, an upper surface spanning the inner portion and the plurality of outer portions, a lower surface spanning the inner portion and the plurality of outer portions, at least one aperture disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface and configured to support an object.

A flotation device used to house beverages above a water surface that the user is occupying. The main body will be made from polyethylene (PE) or copolymer foam, with connector arms made of plastic attached to additional floatation balls (made of polyethylene or copolymer foam) all intended to keep the beverage holder above the water surface. Alternative versions include an attachment to a user to prevent floating separation between device and user. In kit form the flotation device has four connector arms each with a flotation ball at one proximate end thereof and the distal end thereof being secured to the beverage holder.
