Drinking Apparatus, System and Associated Methods
A drinking apparatus comprising a receptacle (2) and a sensor module (4); wherein the sensor module can also be decoupled from the receptacle to allow the receptacle to be cleaned separately from the sensor module; the sensor module comprising an alert system which is able, when the sensor module is coupled to the receptacle, to detect a reorientation of the drinking apparatus into a second, cleaning, orientation in which the mouth of the receptacle is angled downwards; the alert system being configured to generate a warning signal on detection of a reorientation of the drinking apparatus into the second, cleaning, orientation to warn a user against cleaning the drinking apparatus while the sensor module remains coupled to the receptacle.
Room caddie
A room caddie having a self-supporting box with a first interior chamber extending into the box from the top and a second interior chamber separate from the first interior chamber. The second interior space comprising a plurality of interior electrical power sources. A fixed cover is disposed over the first interior chamber and includes a cylindrical cup holder, at least one exterior electrical power source and a first part of a two-part releasable connector disposed in the fixed cover. A moveable lid is disposed over the second interior chamber at the top of box to provide access into the second interior chamber.
Battery-powered tree
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a battery-powered lighted tree formed from an artificial tree trunk adapted to be mechanically supported and electrically connected to a support structure external to the tree, artificial tree branches extending from the trunk, a light source disposed to emit light from a branch and electrically connected to the trunk, and, a base, formed from a battery, and, a structure adapted to mechanically support the trunk and electrically connect the trunk to the battery. In an illustrative example, the light source may be an LED-illuminated optic fiber. In some embodiments, the battery may be charged from a solar cell. Some designs may provide customizable illumination patterns using a programmable controller adapted to control the light source. Various embodiments may advantageously operate from battery for a seasonal display, for example, using lights and battery selected to provide a sufficient period of illumination each display season day.
Floor lamp with integrated plant growth system
A luminaire has three or more substantially rigid legs each having an upper end and a lower end. The three or more legs are arranged in a frustum shape forming a central area. The upper ends of the three or more legs at least partially converge and are fixed with respect to each other. The luminaire includes a first lamp fixed to the top ends of the three or more legs and operable to emit light in a substantially upward direction, and a second lamp fixed to the top ends of the three or more legs and operable to emit light in a substantially downward direction. Additionally, the luminaire includes three or more suspension members each having an end that is removably secured to a respective leg. Each of the three or more suspension members have individually adjustable lengths and are configured to maintain a suspended planter.
POWER POLE FOR ARTIFICIAL TREE APPARATUS WITH AXIAL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
Apparatus and associated methods may relate to an artificial tree apparatus having a plurality of trunk segments that couple together to provide a plurality of information or command signals to devices connected thereto. In an example, one or more branch segments having light emitting devices are connected to the trunk segments to independently receive the electrical power and command signals via a control system. In some implementations, each command signal generated by the control system may include data pertaining to light color and illumination pattern. In some embodiments, each branch segment and associated light emitting devices may be independently controlled via a multi-channel arrangement. In some implementations, each group of light emitting devices may be manually configured via one or more user-interfaces. In various implementations, each trunk segment may include an axial electrical connector which permits adjacent trunk segments from being connected in any radial orientation relative to each other.
Safe Serve Utensil Sanitizing Cover
A safe serve utensil sanitizing cover including a cylindrical body, which has an internal compartment. The internal compartment is configured to accept a utensil handle. The cylindrical body has a germicidal ultraviolet light disposed within. The germicidal ultraviolet light is pointed into the internal compartment. A gel compartment is disposed within the cylindrical body. The gel compartment has an insert opening disposed within the cylindrical body to connect to the charging port for refilling the gel. The gel compartment also has a gel release device connected to the gel compartment. The gel release device will allow gel to be released onto a utensil handle cover. The gel within the gel compartment is a sanitizing gel.
SELF-DEFENSE KEY HOLDER
Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to an apparatus and method for holding a key for self-defense. Aspects of the present disclosure more specifically are directed toward a self-defense key holder or an apparatus that rapidly converts a key (e.g., house key) into a fighting weapon, for example, for self-defense. The defense key holder may utilize an existing key (e.g., home/office/auto) to replace bulky and often prohibited self-defense aids. This disclosure may be useful for giving a user additional control and force in a variety of motions with a key or other object.
PROPELLER FOOD PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN DINING AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
A propeller food plate assembly has a plate component and a propeller component that includes a plurality of propellers that subdivide the plate into a plurality of compartments for holding food during a dining activity. During a different recreational activity, the components rotate when the assembly is thrown and spun in the air. During flight, the components initially engage each other in a torque-transmitting relationship, and subsequently move apart. The propellers have contoured, aerodynamic surfaces configured to enhance an aerodynamic flight characteristic of the assembly. One or more light sources may be mounted on the assembly to emit light.
Insulated beverage container sleeve
An insulated beverage container sleeve; the insulated beverage container sleeve includes an insulated sleeve having a generally cylindrical profile which is configured to receive and host a beverage container within an inner volume. The insulated sleeve is defined by a base, a sidewall, an open top end, and at least one flexible display screen configured to illuminate and display functional indicia. The insulated sleeve includes a thermally insulating material for maintaining a temperature of a beverage contained within a hosted the beverage container.
Adaptable multi-use mirror
An adaptable multi-use mirror is shown and described. The adaptable multi-use mirror includes a puck. In one example the puck is comprised of a first part and a second part. The second part of the puck is removably secured to a toilet. The first part of the puck is removably secured to the second part via at least one magnet. A mirror is secured to the first part of the puck. In additional examples the adaptable multi-use mirror may include any number of lights, sensors, and attachment devices as desired.
