Miter saw
A miter saw includes a base assembly and a saw unit pivotably coupled to the base assembly. The saw unit includes a saw blade and an upper blade guard covering an upper portion of the saw blade. The miter saw also includes a cut line indicator coupled to the upper blade guard. The cut line indicator includes a light source, a cover positioned between the saw blade and the light source, a housing in which the light source is positioned, a rib coupled to one of the cover or the housing, and a first slot defined in the other of the cover or the housing. The cover includes a second slot through which light from the light source passes to illuminate opposite sides of the saw blade and a work piece supported upon the base assembly, thereby casting a shadow of the saw blade onto the work piece. The rib is receivable within the first slot to align the second slot with the saw blade.
BENCH SAW
A bench saw, including a support structure with a lay-on section which provides a lay-on surface, as well as a saw blade which engages through an opening of the lay-on section, so that at least a part of the saw blade is located below the lay-on section lower side, a housing arrangement which is located below the lay-on section lower side and which surrounds the part of the saw blade which is located below the lay-on section lower side, where the saw blade is pivotable together with the housing arrangement relative to the lay-on section, in order to adjust an angle between a cutting plane of the saw blade and the lay-on surface. The bench saw further includes a cover flap which covers a gap between the housing arrangement and the lay-on section lower side, the gap arising on pivoting the housing arrangement.

Blade guard for saw of saw house and method
A blade guard assembly for a circular saw blade of a saw house includes a blade cover with a face panel and an edge portion that extends from the face panel. An actuator is mountable the blade cover and the structure of the saw house. When the blade guard assembly is mounted in saw house, the blade cover is movable with the actuator between a covered position and an exposed position. In the covered position, the face panel and edge portion at least partially surround the saw blade. In the exposed position, the face panel is spaced from the saw blade.
POWER TOOL, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A power tool with a rotatable tool designed as a saw blade or a milling cutter, including a sensor device for detecting a mechanical quantity, the mechanical quantity having a force, an acceleration, a velocity, a deflection, a deformation and/or a mechanical stress, and the mechanical quantity being dependent on a force emanating from the tool, and a control device communicatively coupled to the sensor device, which control device is adapted to recognize a kickback event based on the detected mechanical quantity, where the control device is adapted to selectively determine a first recognition function or a second recognition function different from the first recognition function based on a function determination information, and to perform the recognition of the kickback event based on the detected mechanical quantity using the determined recognition function.
Portable Circular Saw
A portable circular saw has a sole plate, a housing, and a drive unit which is arranged at least partially in the housing and to which a tool receptacle for an interchangeable saw blade is assigned. The drive unit is configured to drive the interchangeable saw blade in rotation about an associated axis of rotation, and the portable circular saw is guidable along a workpiece by means of the sole plate. The saw further includes a securing device having at least one sensor element. The securing device is configured to detect at least one breaking of the portable circular saw into the workpiece during a sawing operation and, upon detecting any breaking into the workpiece, to brake and/or switch off the drive unit.
PANEL SAW
The invention relates to a panel saw (1) for cutting plate-shaped workpieces (2) into multiple sections, comprising: a machine base frame (3); a workpiece support (4) with a sawing slot (5); a saw aggregate (7), which is arranged below the workpiece support (4), wherein a circular saw blade (6) is arranged on the saw aggregate (7), which circular saw blade (6) in a sawing position (34) protrudes through the sawing slot (5) and is displaceable in a sawing direction (8); a holding-down device (9) for clamping the workpiece (2) on the workpiece support (4); a positioning device (12) for positioning the workpiece (2).
SAW BLADE COVER AND BENCH SAW
The invention relates to a saw blade cover (40) for a bench saw (10), to an angle stop (50) for a bench saw and to a bench saw (10, 20, 30). The saw blade cover (40) comprises a cover body (41) which is manufactured from a first material as well as a contact region (47) which comprises a sliding section (48) which is manufactured from a second material and along which the workpiece (11) can slide on contact with the contact region (47). The stop unit (50) comprises a stop arm (55) with a main section (51) which is manufactured of a first material and with an end section (52) which is manufactured of a second material. The bench saw comprises a cover flap (87) which covers a gap between the housing arrangement (09 and a lay-on section lower side (14), said gap arising given a pivoting of the housing arrangement (80).
