A safety system for a table saw is provided that includes: a generally U-shaped structure having a horizontal bottom segment, a vertical segment extending from a first end of the horizontal bottom segment, and a horizontal top segment extending from a first end of the vertical member opposite the first end of the horizontal bottom segment; a receiver having an end configured for receiving a second end of the horizontal bottom segment opposite the first end thereof; and a saw blade cover coupled to a distal end of the horizontal to segment opposite the first end of the vertical member.

A self-dust extraction dustless table saw includes a table saw frame, saw table, and saw blade installed to the table saw frame. An upper and a lower blade guards are respectively mounted to upper and lower sides of the saw table, the saw blade is mounted in the upper and lower blade guards, and the lower blade guard includes a lower left and lower-right blade guards. Several interval guide barriers are installed on the inner walls of the lower left and lower right blade guards, and the guide barriers transport the dust to a dust outlet on the side of the lower right blade guard.

A self-dust extraction dustless table saw includes a table saw frame, saw table, and saw blade installed to the table saw frame. An upper and a lower blade guards are respectively mounted to upper and lower sides of the saw table, the saw blade is mounted in the upper and lower blade guards, and the lower blade guard includes a lower left and lower-right blade guards. A sawing device, in particular for separating long workpiece parts, has a saw blade and a retaining device for separated workpiece parts, wherein the retaining device has a retaining element, at least on the side of the saw blade facing the workpiece part that is to be separated, which retaining element is arranged ahead of the saw blade in the machining direction of the workpiece and movably in such a way that it is movable from an inactive position above the workpiece into an active position which reaches ahead of the front end of the workpiece.

A sawing device, in particular for separating long workpiece parts, has a saw blade and a retaining device for separated workpiece parts, wherein the retaining device has a retaining element, at least on the side of the saw blade facing the workpiece part that is to be separated, which retaining element is arranged ahead of the saw blade in the machining direction of the workpiece and movably in such a way that it is movable from an inactive position above the workpiece into an active position which reaches ahead of the front end of the workpiece.

A detachable protective device includes a base support, a mounting unit connected to the base support, and a quick-release unit. The base support has a mounting hole having an engaging portion and an open end portion. The quick-release unit includes a positioning pin extending movably through the mounting hole. The quick-release unit is operable to move the positioning pin between a locked position, where a large-diameter section of the positioning pin is disposed in the engaging portion, and a release position, where a small-diameter section of the positioning pin is disposed in the engaging portion, thereby allowing separation of the mounting unit from the base support.

A detachable protective device includes a base support, a mounting unit connected to the base support, and a quick-release unit. The base support has a mounting hole having an engaging portion and an open end portion. The quick-release unit includes a positioning pin extending movably through the mounting hole. The quick-release unit is operable to move the positioning pin between a locked position, where a large-diameter section of the positioning pin is disposed in the engaging portion, and a release position, where a small-diameter section of the positioning pin is disposed in the engaging portion, thereby allowing separation of the mounting unit from the base support.

The invention relates to apparatus for providing for the powered cutting of a workpiece, typically in the form of a planar or sheet material. The apparatus includes a rotatable blade to cut the workpiece and the blade is mountable such as in a first mode of use to be capable of being held in a fixed position in which the workpiece is moved past the blade, and a second mode of use in which the blade is moved with respect to the workpiece to cut the same. The workpiece is mounted on a base and the blade is mounted with respect to the base via one or more slide members.
