PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A WOOD PART CONNECTION AND DEVICE TO CARRY OUT THE PROCESS
20210252737 · 2021-08-19 ·

The invention relates to a simple and safe method for manufacturing a wood part joint, in particular a cross-laminated timber for a house wall, from a plurality of individual layers which are laid as longitudinal layers (L) and transverse layers (Q) at an angle to one another and subsequently joined, preferably glued and pressed, at their mutually facing main surfaces. According to the invention, at least the boards of the longitudinal layer (L) are pre-fixed in their transverse direction using an elongate string element (2) at least in the end region, in particular using beading pressed into a groove. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for carrying out the method, wherein a feed for the elongate string element (2) is provided which can independently also be used for a wood part joint in which abutting, shorter pieces of wood are pre-fixed in the longitudinal direction to a board.

METHOD OF MAKING AN OBJECT FROM PLYWOOD

A method of manufacturing a curved shaped object formed primarily of plywood, the method comprising: cutting strips from a plywood panel; and arranging and bending the strips in two different directions. The strips can have edges that have a wavy profile. The strips can be arranged in a multi-layer stack where they are staggered or crossed. The object is at least partially ovoid in shape.

METHOD OF MOLDING PLANT-BASED MATERIAL AND MOLDED BODY

In order to provide a method of molding plant-based material to mold three-dimensional shape of cross section for relatively long plant-based material while maintaining the continuity of original cell/tissue of the plant-based material by means of simple equipment and process, we obtained a long plant-based material of high density and high strength by continuously giving compressing/drawing deformation to the component tissue of the plant-based material toward the center direction while extruding the plant-based material via the extruding die having a prescribed extrusion ratio and die angle for a relatively long plant-based material long in the fiber direction.

Pine straw processing and bagging system

A system and method for packaging pine straw and a packaged mass of pine straw made therefrom, the method including providing an electronically-controlled system configured for packaging pine straw, the system including system logic that controls conveying, fluffing, cleaning, compressing and packaging of the pine straw, and using the system to compress a mass of pine straw into a rectangular mass of pine straw and enclosing the rectangular mass of pine straw within a flexible plastic sheet thereby forming a substantially rectangular packaged mass of compressed pine straw.

The present disclosure provides embodiments of a lapper assembly for use to overlap successive sheets of wood veneer or other materials along a conveyor. The lapper assembly may include a stop member configured to be rotatably mounted to a roller such that the stop member is pivotable around the rotational axis of the roller independently of the rotational angle of the roller. The lapper assembly may further include a lever arm coupled to one end of the stop member. An actuator may be pivotably coupled to the lever arm and the conveyor frame, and operated to pivot the stop member between a workpiece engaging position, in which the stop member extends into the path of workpiece flow, and a workpiece disengaging position below the path. Optionally, the lapper assembly roller and other rollers upstream/downstream may be operatively connected to a drive. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed herein.

Edge Strip and Method for Its Manufacture
20210045533 · 2021-02-18 ·

The present invention discloses an edge strip (1,1) for pieces of furniture comprising a main body (2) with an underside (3) that can be attached to a piece of furniture and an upper side (4) facing away from the underside (3), wherein the upper side (4) has at least one transition section (5) sloping down towards an edge of the main body (2). In order to enable an improved visual impression of the edge strip (1, 1) in the transition section, it is provided that the transition section (5) slopes down in a step-like manner towards the edge of the main body (2), wherein the transition section (5) has at least two steps, each with an upper side surface (6, 6a) and an edge side surface (7) per step, wherein the upper side surfaces (6, 6a) is aligned independently of one another in relation to the underside (3) such that the smallest angles of the upper side surfaces (6, 6a) in relation to the underside (3) are each on average from 45 to 75, in particular from 45 to 45 and wherein the edge side surfaces (7) is inclined independently of one another in relation to the underside (3) such that the smallest angles of the edge side surfaces (7) in relation to the underside (3) are each on average from 20 to less than 90, in particular from 46 to less than 90, in particular up to 80.

Method for manufacturing transparent heat-insulation building material based on waste wood

A method for manufacturing a transparent heat-insulation building material from waste wood is provided. The method includes the following steps of: step S1, wood pretreatment, drying immersing, heating, adding a complexing agent solution, stirring, then drying the wood; step S2, wood acetylation treatment, loading the wood into a pressure vessel, adding acetylation fluid, reducing the pressure, and then pressurizing and raising a temperature; step S3, resin impregnating, adding a methyl methacrylate monomer solution and heating it, adding the methyl methacrylate monomer and benzoyl peroxide, bleaching the wood by hydrogen peroxide, and placing them in a vacuum permeator to allow the prepolymer liquid to penetrate into the wood and collecting the prepolymer liquid; and step S4, hot press molding polymerizing the wood in an oven and sleeving it into a heat press molding to obtain a densified wood.
